B660B01GK-GAT To Set the Cruise Speed
1. Push in the cruise control main
switch on the end of the barrel. The "CRUISE" indicator light in the in-strument cluster will be illuminated. This turns the system on.
2. Accelerate to the desired cruising speed above 25 mph (40 km/h).
3. Push the control switch downward
to "SET (COAST)" and release it.
4. Remove your foot from the accel- erator pedal and the desired speed will automatically be maintained.The "SET" indicator light in the in- strument cluster will illuminated. B660B01GK

5. To increase speed, depress the
accelerator pedal enough for the vehicle to exceed the preset speed. When you remove your foot from the accelerator pedal, the vehiclewill return to the speed you have set.
WARNING:
To avoid accidental cruise controlengagement, keep the cruise con- trol main switch off when not using the cruise control.B660C01GK-AAT To Cancel the Cruise Speed To disengage the cruise control sys- tem, Pull the control switch toward the steering wheel to "CANCEL" position.Additionally, the following actions will disengage the system:
o Depress the brake pedal.
o Depress the clutch pedal (Manual transaxle).
o Shift the selector lever in "N" posi- tion (Automatic transaxle).
o Decrease the vehicle speed lower than memorized speed by 9 mph(15 km/h). B660C01GK

B660E01E-AAT To Reset at a Faster Speed
1. Push the control switch upward to
"RESUME (ACCEL)" position and hold it.
2. Accelerate to desired speed and
release the control switch. Whilethe control switch is held, the ve- hicle will gradually gain speed. B660F02E-AAT To Reset at a Slower Speed
1. Push the control switch downward
to "SET (COAST)" position and hold it. The vehicle will decelerate.
2. When the desired speed is obtained, release the control switch. Whilethe control switch is pushed, thevehicle speed will gradually de- crease. B660B01GK
o Decrease the vehicle speed approxi-
mately to less than 25 mph (40 km/ h).
o Release the main switch. B660D01E-AAT To Resume the Preset Speed The vehicle will automatically resume the speed set prior to cancellation when you push the control switch upward to"RESUME (ACCEL)" position and re- lease it to return providing the vehicle speed is above 25 mph (40 km/h).

!WARNING:
o Keep the main switch off when not using the cruise control.
o Use the cruise control system only when traveling on open high- ways in good weather.
o Do not use the cruise control when it may not be safe to keepthe car at a constant speed, for instance, driving in heavy or vary-ing traffic, or on slippery (rainy, icy or snow-covered) or winding roads or over 6% up-hill or down-hill roads.
o Pay particular attention to the
driving conditions whenever us-ing the cruise control system.
o During cruise-control driving
with a manual transaxle vehicle,do not shift into neutral without depressing the clutch pedal, or the engine will be overrevved. Ifthis happens, depress the clutch pedal or release the main switch. o With the cruise control engaged,
when the brake pedal is applied, it is normal to hear the cruise control system deactivate. This is an indication of normal systemoperation.
o During normal cruise control
operation, when the"SET(COAST)" is activated or reactivated after applying the brakes, the cruise control willenergize after approximately 3 seconds. This delay is normal. B610A01GK-EAT (Not all models) The steering wheel audio remote con- trol switch is installed to promote safe driving. POWER ON/OFF Switch Press the POWER ON/OFF switch to select Radio, Tape, CD (compact disc) and CDC (compact disc changer). Press the POWER ON/OFF switch once again to cancel Radio, Tape, CD (compact disc) and CDC (compactdisc changer).B610A01GK

SEEK (UP / ) Switch Press the SEEK UP ( ) switch 1 sec. or more.
1. RADIO mode When the SEEK UP ( ) switch is pressed, the unit will automatically tune to the next higher frequency.
2. TAPE mode Pressing the SEEK UP ( ) switch will play the beginning of the next music segment.
3. CD (compact disc)/CDC(compact disc changer) mode
Press the SEEK UP ( ) switch once to skip forward to the beginning of the next track.
VOL ( / ) Switch
o Press the VOL ( ) button to in- crease volume.
o Press the VOL ( ) button to de- cease volume.

To change thedirection of the air flow, move the knob in the center of the vent up-and-down and side-to-side. The vents are openedwhen the vent knob is moved to " " position. The vents are closed when the vent knob is moved to " ". Keep thesevents clear of any obstructions. B710C02HP-AAT SIDE VENTILATOR The side ventilators are located on each side of the dash board. B670C02FC-AAT Air Intake Control This is used to select fresh outside air or recirculating inside air. To change the air intake control mode,(Fresh mode, Recirculation mode) push the control button. FRESH MODE (
) : The indicator
light on the button goes off when the air intake control is fresh mode. RECIRCULATION MODE (
): The
indicator light on the button is illumi- nated when the air intake control is recirculation mode. With the "Fresh" mode selected, air enters the vehicle from the outside andis heated or cooled according to the function selected. With the "Recirculation" mode selected, air from within the passenger compart- ment will be drawn through the heatingsystem and heated or cooled according to the function selected. NOTE: It should be noted that prolonged operation of the heating in "Recircu- lation" mode will give rise to fogging of the windshield and side windowsand the air within the passenger com- partment will become stale. In addi- tion, prolonged use of the air condi-tioning with the "Recirculation" mode selected may result in the air within the passenger compartmentbecoming excessively dry.
B670D01GK-EAT Air Flow Control This is used to direct the flow of air. Air can be directed to the floor, dashboard outlets, or windscreen. Five symbolsare used to represent Face, Bi-Level, Floor, Floor-Defrost and Defrost air po- sition.

Face-Level
Selecting the "Face" mode will cause air to be discharged through the facelevel vents. Bi-Level
Air is discharged through the face vents and the floor vents. This makes it pos- sible to have cooler air from the dash-board vents and warmer air from the floor outlets at the same time. Floor-Level
Air is discharged through the floor vents,windscreen defroster nozzle, side de- froster nozzle, side ventilator.

Floor-Defrost Level
Air is discharged through the windscreen defroster nozzle, the floor vents, side defroster nozzle, side ventilator. If the "Floor-Defrost" mode is selected,the A/C will turn on automatically and it will be changed to "Fresh" mode will be activated. Defrost-Level
Air is discharged through the windscreendefroster nozzle, side defroster nozzle, side ventilator. If the "Defrost" mode is selected, the A/C will turn on automati-cally and "Fresh" mode will be acti- vated. B690A02S-AAT For normal heating operation, set the air intake control to the "Fresh" position and the air flow control to "Floor". For faster heating, the air intake control should be in the "Recirculation" posi- tion. If the windows fog up, move the air flow control to the "Def" (defroster) position.(The A/C will turn on automatically and "Fresh" mode will be activated.) For maximum heat, move the tempera- ture control to "Warm".
