Maintenance and care
Fuse box inside the passenger’s
side kick panel
Pull the tab and remove the cover.
Fuse box in the trunk
Pull the tab and remove the cover.
Inspect the suspected fuse and refer to “Fuse layout and amper -
age rating”. (
P. 300)
Remove the fuse with the pull-out tool
and check if it has blown.

■Engine compartment fuse box (with electronically modulated air

Determining if it fuse has blown.
Blown fuse
Replace it with one of an appropri -
ate amperage rating. The amper -
age rating can be found on the fuse

Normal fuse
If the lights do not turn on even
after the fuse has been replaced, a
bulb may need replacement.

CAUTION
■When replacing a fuse
Observe the following precautions. 
Failing to do so may cause damage , a
nd possibly a fire or injury.
• Never use a fuse of higher amperage rati ng, or us
e any other object in place of
a fuse.
• Always use genuine Lexus fuses, or a fuse of an equal standard of quality. 
Do not use copper wire or other objects, even as a temporary measure.
• Do not modify the fuse or the fuse box.
