WARNING Thereis a risk of skidding if EBD or ABS is malfunctioning
If EBD or ABS is malfunctioning, the wheels may lock when braking.
The steering capability and braking characteristics are thus se verely impaired. Br aking distance may increase in
an eme rgency braking situation. In addition, other driving saf ety sy stems are switched off. #

WARNING Risk of accident and inju ryif brake forc e boosting is malfunctioning
If brake forc e boosting is malfunctioning, increased brake pedal forc e may be necessary for braking. The braking
ch aracteristics may be impaired. The braking dis tance can increase in emergency braking situations. #
Stop in a safe location immediately. Do not continue driving! #

If th ere stra int sy stem is malfunctioning, restra int sy stem components may be triggered unintentionally or may
not deploy as intended during an accident. This may af fect the seat belt tensioner or airbag, forex ample. Further‐
more, in theeve nt of an accident, the high-voltage on-board electrical sy stem may not be deactivated as inten‐
ded.
Yo u may be electrocuted if youto uch the damaged component parts of the high-voltage on-board electrical sys‐
te m. #
Have there stra int sy stem checked and repaired immediately at a qualified specialist workshop. #

If yo u ha veplaced objects on the front passenger seat, the seat belt warning lamp may remain lit.
7 Seat belt warning lamp

*T he driver or front passenger has not fastened their seat belt while theve hicle is in motion. #
