or X Press theStart/St opbutton repeatedlyuntilallindicator lampsin
the instrument clustergoout.
X Try tostart theengine again(Y page 127). Avoid excessivel ylong
and freque ntattempts tostart theengine asthese willdrai nthe
battery.
If the engine doesnotstart after several attempts:
X Consul ta qua lifiedspecia listworkshop. The
engine doesnot
start. Youcannot hear
the starter motor. The
on-board voltageistoo low becau sethe battery istoo wea kor
discha rged.
X Jump -start thevehicle (Ypage 288).
If the engine doesnotstart despi teattempts tojump-start it:
X Consul ta qua lifiedspecia listworkshop. The
starter motorwasexposed toathermal loadthatwastoohigh.
X Allow thestarter motortocool down forappro ximately two
minutes.
X Try tostart theengine again.
If the engine stilldoes notstart:
