Your vehicle's tiresareacritical component
to overa llvehicl eperforma nceand stabi lity.
The usefullife oftires willvary and is
pro portional totiret ype ,speed rating,
ambient condition s,tire loads, tireinflat ion
pressure, roadsurfaces ,and individual
drivin gstyle. Wether efore recom mend
regularly checkingthe tires forwear and
corr ecttire pressure, and-ift he tire
con figuration allows-that the tires are
rotated regularly .
Tires canonly berotated onvehicles withthe
same tiresize onthe front andrear axles.
If your vehicle's tireconfiguration allowsfor
tire rotation, tirerotation shouldbe
performed inaccordance withthe
recommen dedintervals, orsooner atthe first
signs ofirregular (uneven) treadwear. Tire
rotation recommen dationswilllikely
necessitat eatirerotation atleast atevery
maintenanc eservice.
Single tiresatrear If
your vehicle isequipp edwith tires ofthe
same size,tires canberotated byfollowing a
front -to-rear rotation patternthatwill
maintain theinten dedrotation (spinning)
direction ofthe tire (onunidirectional tires,an
arrow onthe sidewa llindicates theinten ded
rotation orspinning direction ofthe tire). Dual
tires atthe rear If
your vehicle isequipp edwith tires ofthe
same size,thetires onthe front axlecanbe
rotated withtheinner tiresonthe rear axle in
pairs sothat theinten dedrotation (spinning)
direction ofthe tires remains thesame. Ifthe
tread pattern onthe tires isnot unidirectional,
the outer tiresonthe rear axle canberotated

operating conditions
The maintenanc eintervals havebeen
determined sothat under normal operating
condition sthe vehicle shouldoperate
properly between maintenanc eservices .
Arduous operatingconditions mayrequire
