kytkin aivan pohjaan. Ajoneuvoissa
joissa on automaattivaihtesto, slirretaan valitsinvipu "P"­asentoon. 3. Kayttakaa kaasupoljinta seuraavasti:
(1) Kin ilman lampbtila on normaali tai moottori lammin kayn­
nistakaa
moottori painamatta kaasupoljinta. (2) Kun ilman lampbtila on matala ja moottori on kylma
kaynnistakaa moottori samalla painaen kaasupoljinta . 11-man lampbtilan ollessa hyvin matala kaynnistyy moottori helpommin jos virta-avaimen kaantaa "ON" asentoon
muutamaksi sekunniksi ennenkuin moottori kaynnistetaan.

1. Pankaa pysakbintijarru paalle. 2. Ajoneuvoissa joissa on kasivaihteisto, siirretaan vaihdevipu
vapaalle ja painetaan kytkin aivan pohjaan . Ajoneuvoissa
joissa on automaattivhteisto, slirr etaan valitsinvipu "P"­asentoon.
3 . Kaantakaa virta-avain ON asentoon . Dieselin esilam­
mityksen merkkivalo palaa ensin punaisena ,
muuttuen het­
ken kuluttui vihreaksi merkiksi siita, etta esilammitys on
suoritettu.
Diesel-powered vehicles EI02S·K
Vehicles not equipped with diesel preheat indica­
tion lamp
1 . Apply the parking brake.
2. On vehicles with a manual transmission , move the gearshift
lever to neutral and depress the clutch pedal all the way. On
vehicles with an automatic transmi ssion, move the selector
lever to the" P" position . 3. Operate the accelerator pedal as described below in accor­
dance with the atmospheric temperature and/or engine condition and then start the engine .
(1) When the atmospheric temperature is moderate or the
engine is warm , start the engine without depressing the
accelerator pedal.
(2) When the atmospheric temperature is low and the engine is cold, start the engine while depressing the accelerator
pedal. If the atmospheric temperature is very low, setting
the ignition switch to ON for one or two seconds before attempting to start the engine will make it easier to start
Vehicles equipped with the diesel preheat indication
lamp
1. Apply the parking brake. 2. On vehicles with a manual transmission , move the gearshift

3. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position. The diesel­
preheat indication lamp will first illuminate in red , and then
after a short time change
to green, indicating that preheat­
ing is completed.

Kiiyttiikiiii kaasupoljinta seuraavasti:
(1) Kun ilman liimpotila on normaali tai moottori liimmin kiiynnistiikiiii moottori painamatta kaasupoljinta. (2) Kun ilman liimpotila on matala ja moottori on kylmii kiiynnistiikiiii moottori samalla painaen kaasupoljinta . Ilman liimpotilan ollessa hyvin matala kiiynnistyy moottori helpommin jos virta-avaimen kiiiintiiii "ON" asentoon muutamaksi sekunniksi ennenkuin moottori kiiynnistetiiiin.

NOTE
The green illumination will automatically stop after a certain
time passes after the glow plug heating has been completed. This is in order to prevent a drain of battery power.
If the green illumination stops, turn the ignition key once more to the "LOCK" position, and then to the "ON" position, in order to preheat again.
4. Operate
the accelerator pedal as described below in accor­
dance with the atmospheric temperature and/or engine condition and then start the engine.
(1) When the atmospheric temperature is moderate or the engine is warm, start the engine without depressing the
accelerator pedal.
(2) When the atmospheric temperature is low and the engine is
co ld, start the engine while depressing the accelerator
pedal. If the atmospheric temperature is very low, setting the ignition switch to "ON" for one or two seconds before attempting to start the engine will make it easier to start.

When the outside air temperature is very low, or when it is necessary to warm up the engine, pullout the control knob to that point at which the engine runs smoothly, and then, once the warming up is complete, push the knob back in.

muusta saasteesta. Vipu tulee kuitenkin jiittiiii tiihiin asentoon vain viihiiksi aikaa.
Kiertoilma-asentoa tulee
kiiyttiiii vain viibiin aikaa erityisesti kylmiillii ilmalla koska muuten ilmassa oleva hoyry tiivistyy ikkunoihin.

engine coolant temperature is low, temperature of air
introduced into the passenger compartment does not change even if the temperature control knob is moved to the high temperature side. 2-Set the desired blower speed by turning the blower speed control knob. 3-Set the air selection by sliding the air selection control lever .
~ -(Outside position) Outside air is introduced into the passenger compart­
ment.
~-(Recirculation position)
NOTE The
inside air is recirculated. Select this position
to keep
the inside air free of dust or other contaminants in the
outside air. However, the lever should only be leh at this
position for a short time.
Especially
during cold weather the recirculation position should only be used for a short time in order to prevent the unnecessary
formation of mist on the windows.

Type 1
Pressing the switch turns on the rear air conditioner. While the rear air condi­tioner is in operation , indicator lamp (A)
comes on.
Type 2

Every time the switch is pressed , switch­ing to HEATER, COOLER and OFF is
made in that order. When indicator lamp (A) is on, the heater is in operation. If indicator lamp (8) is on, the cooler is in
operation.

1. Lightly wipe off with gauze or other soft cloth soaked with a 5% aqueous solution of neutral detergent for wool. 2. Dip cloth in fresh water and wring it out well. Using this
cloth, wipe off the detergent thoroughly. 3. Apply leather protecting agent to the genuine leather
surface.
NOTE
(1) If genuine leather is wet with water or is washed in water, wipe off water as quickly as possible with a dry, soft cloth. (2) Slight stains on genuine leather may be removed with leather cleaner as well. (3) The genuine leather surface may be damaged if a nylon brush or synthetic fibre is rubbed hard against it. (4) Organic solvents such as benzine, alcohol and gasoline ,
acid or alkaline solvents may discolour the genuine leather
surface. Be sure to use neutral detergents. (5) Dirty genuine leather seat may mildew. Be very careful about oil stains and remove them earlier . (6) The genuine leather surface may harden and shrink if it is
exposed to direct rays of the sun for long hours. When your vehicle is parked, place it in the shade as much as possible. (7) When the temperature of the vehicle interior rises in
summer, vinyl products left on the genuine leather seat may deteriorate and stick to the seat.

pysayttakaa moottori heti ja ottakaa yhteys valtuutettuun M ITSU B ISH I- liikkeeseen .)
& VAROITUS (1) Muistakaa etta konepeiton alta saattaa suihkuta kuumaa vetta. Miki=ili konepeitto avataan kiireella, saatatte loukata itsenne.
(2) Varokaa paisuntasi=iilion korkista puhaltavaa kuu­maa hoyrya.

Engine overheating EN26A-C
If the water temperature gauge indication remains in the red
zone for a long time , the engine may be overheated . If this
occurs , take the following correctiv e measures :
1 .
Stop the vehicle in a safe place.
2 . With the engine still running, raise the bonnet to ventilate the engine compartment. (Confirm that the radiator fan is turning. If the fan is not turning, stop the engine immediately and contact an au­thorized MITSUBISHI dealer for assistance.)
& CAUTION (1) Remember under the bonnet, there can be boiling water gushing out or support bar could be burning hot. If the bonnet is opened suddenly, you could get burnt. (2) Be careful of hot steam which could be blowing off the reserve tank cap. (3) Do not attempt to remove the radiator cap while the engine is hot.
