If the windows donot close automatically

If the power window automatic function(closing
only) does notoperate properly,perform the
following procedure toinitialize thepower
window system.
1. Place theignition switchinthe ON position.
2. Close thedoor.
3. Open thewindow completely byoperating
the power window switch.
4. Pull thepower window switchandhold itto
close thewindow ,and then holdtheswitch
more than3seconds afterthewindow is
closed completely .
5. Release thepower window switch.Operate
the window bythe automatic functionto
confirm theinitialization iscomplete.
If the power window automatic functiondoes
not operate properly afterperforming thepro-
cedure above,haveyourvehicle checked bya
NISSAN dealer.

POWER MOONROO F

The moonroof onlyoperates whentheignition
switch isin the ON position.
The moonroof isoperational forabout 45
seconds, evenifthe ignition switchispushed
to the OFF position. Ifthe driver's doororthe passenger's
doorisopened duringthisperiod of
about 45seconds, powertothe moonroof is
canceled.
Sunshade

The sunshade willopen automatically whenthe
moonroof isopened. However, itmust beclosed
manually .

Auto reverse function

There aresome smalldistances imme-
diately beforetheclosed position which
cannot bedetected. Makesurethatall
passengers havetheirhands, etc.,in-
side thevehicle beforeclosing the
moonroof.
If the control unitdetects something caughtin
the moonroof whenitis closing, themoonroof
will beimmediately opened.
The auto reverse function canbeactivated when
the moonroof isclosed byautomatic operation
when theignition switchisin the ON position or
for about 45seconds aftertheignition switchis
pushed tothe OFF position.
If the moonroof cannotbeclosed automatically
when theauto reverse function activates dueto
a malfunction, pushandhold theswitch toward

Depending onthe environment ordriving
conditions, theauto reverse function may
be activated ifan impact orload similar to
something beingcaught inthe moonroof
occurs.
If the moonroof doesnotoperate

Satellite radioreception (ifso equipped) :

When thesatellite radioisused forthe first time
or the battery hasbeen replaced, thesatellite
radio maynotwork properly .This isnot a
malfunction. Wait more than10minutes withthe
satellite radioONand thevehicle awayfromany
metal orlarge buildings forthe satellite radioto
receive allofthe necessary data.
The satellite radiomode requires anactive
SiriusXM SatelliteRadiosubscription. Thesa-
tellite radioisnot available inAlaska, Hawaiiand
Guam.
Satellite radioperformance maybeaffected if
cargo carried onthe roof blocks thesatellite
radio signal.
If possible, donot put cargo nearthesatellite
antenna.
A buildup ofice onthe satellite radioantenna
can affect satellite radioperformance. Remove
the icetorestore satellite radio
reception.

. Ifyour engine stallsoryou cannot
make itto the top ofasteep hill,
never attempt toturn around. Your
vehicle couldtiporroll over. Always
back straight downinR(Reverse)
range. Neverbackdown inN(Neu-
tral) ,using onlythebrake, asthis
could cause lossofcontrol.
. Heavy braking goingdownahill
could cause yourbrakes tooverheat
and fade, resulting inloss ofcontrol
and anaccident. Applybrakes
lightly andusealow range to
control yourspeed.
. Unsecured cargocanbethrown
around whendriving overrough
terrain. Properly secureallcargo
so itwill notbethrown forward
and cause injurytoyou oryour
passengers.
. To avoid raising thecenter ofgravity
excessively, donot exceed therated
capacity ofthe roof rack (ifso
equipped) andevenly distribute the
load. Secure heavyloadsinthe
cargo areaasfar forward andas
low aspossible. Donot equip the
vehicle withtires larger thanspeci-
fied inthis manual. Thiscould cause your
vehicle toroll over.
. Do not grip theinside orspokes of
the steering wheelwhendriving off-
road. Thesteering wheelcould
move suddenly andinjure your
hands. Instead drivewithyour fin-
gers andthumbs onthe outside of
the rim.
. Before operating thevehicle, ensure
that thedriver andallpassengers
have theirseatbelts fastened.
. Always drivewiththefloor mats in
place asthe floor maybecame hot.
. Lower yourspeed whenencounter-
ing strong crosswinds. Withahigher
center ofgravity, yourNISSAN is
more affected bystrong sidewinds.
Slower speeds ensurebettervehicle
control.
. Do not drive beyond theperfor-
mance capability ofthe tires, even
with AWD engaged.
. For AWD equipped vehicles,donot
attempt toraise twowheels offthe
ground andshift thetransmission to
any drive orreverse position with
the engine running. Doingsomay
result indrivetrain damageorun- expected
vehiclemovement which
could result inserious vehicleda-
mage orpersonal injury.
. Do not attempt totest anAWD
equipped vehicleona2-wheel dy-
namometer (suchasthe dynam-
ometers usedbysome states for
emissions testing),or similar equip-
ment evenifthe other twowheels
are raised offthe ground. Makesure
you inform testfacility personnel
that your vehicle isequipped with
AWD before itis placed ona
dynamometer. Usingthewrong test
equipment mayresult indrivetrain
damage orunexpected vehicle
movement whichcouldresult in
serious vehicledamage orpersonal
injury.
. When awheel isoff the ground due
to an unlevel surface, donot spin
the wheel excessively (AWDmodel) .
. Accelerating quickly,sharpsteering
maneuvers orsudden braking may
