HEATED SEAT HI MODE GROUND CIRCUIT
REAR SEAT : Description

Warms the rear seat cushion and rear seatback.
REAR SEAT : Component Function CheckINFOID:0000000003846113
1.CHECK FUNCTION
When turning the rear heated seat switch to the HI mode position, check that the rear heated seat is operated
in HI mode.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Rear heated seat HI mode ground circuit function is OK.
NO >> Refer toSE-30, "

1.CHECK REAR HEATED SEAT (HI MODE) GROUND CIRCUIT 1
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check voltage between rear ventilation seat control unit harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace rear ventilation seat control unit. Refer to SE-100, "Disassembly and Assembly".
NO >> GO TO 2.
2.CHECK REAR HEATED SEAT (HI MODE) GROUND CIRCUIT 2
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect rear seat cushion heater connector and rear ventilation seat control unit connector.
3. Check continuity between rear seat cushion heater harness connector and rear ventilation seat control
unit harness connector.
4. Check continuity between rear seat cushion heater harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace rear seat cushion heater. Refer to SE-98, "Exploded View".
NO >> Repair or replace harness.

YES >> Replace front seat cushion heater. Refer to SE-89, "Exploded View".
NO >> GO TO 2.
2.CHECK FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect front seat cushion heater connector and front ventilation seat control unit connector.
3. Check continuity between front seat cushion heater harness connector and front ventilation seat control
unit harness connector.
4. Check continuity between front seat cushion heater harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace front ventilation seat control unit. Refer to SE-93, "Disassembly and Assembly".
NO >> Repair or replace harness.

4. Check continuity between rear seat cushion heater harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace rear ventilation seat control unit. Refer to SE-100, "Disassembly and Assembly".
NO >> Repair or replace harness.

2. Disconnect front ventilation seat control unit connector and front seatback heater connector.
3. Check continuity between front ventilation seat control unit harness connector and front seatback heater
harness connector.
4. Check continuity between font ventilation seat control unit harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace front ventilation seat control unit. Refer to SE-93, "Disassembly and Assembly".
NO >> Repair or replace harness.

Check voltage between front seatback heater harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 4.
NO >> Replace front seatback heater. Refer to SE-89, "
Exploded View".
4.CHECK FRONT SEATBACK HEATER CIRCUIT 2
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect front seat cushion heater connector and front seatback heater connector.
3. Check continuity between front seat cushion heater harness connector and front seatback heater harness
connector.
4. Check continuity between front seat cushion heater harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace front seat cushion heater. Refer to SE-89, "Exploded View".
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
