FRONT SPEAKER GRILLE
●Pull forward and remove front speaker grille.
INSTRUMENT FINISHER
●Remove clips starting from the outside.
CUP HOLDER
●Remove screws and remove cup holder.
CLUSTER LID A
●Remove screws, and pull instrument cluster lid A forward to
unfasten clip.
COMBINATION METER
●Remove screws, and remove connector. Then remove combination meter.
POCKET
●Remove screws and remove pocket.
STEERING COLUMN COVER
●Remove key cylinder escutcheon first. Remove screws.

INSTRUMENT LOWER DRIVER PANEL
●Remove screws, and pull driver-side instrument lower panel
straight forward to unfasten the clip.
MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH
1. From the back, press tab on mirror control switch to remove. Or insert a screwdriver, wrapped with a
cloth, into lower side of the switch to unfasten the lower clip.
2. Disconnect connector and then remove mirror control switch.
GPS ANTENNA
●Remove screws and Disconnect connector.
CLUSTER LID C
1. Insert a clip remover or similar tool into lower side of cluster lid C
and unfasten clip.
2. Unfasten resin tabs on upper and lower sides and remove clus-
ter lid C.
CLUSTER LID FINISHER
●Insert a clip clamp remover or similar tool into center panel gap
and unfasten clip.
AUDIO UNIT AND POCKET
Remove mounting screws on audio unit and pocket.Disconnect connector and remove audio unit and pocket.
NOTE:
During removal or installation, use cloth to protect surrounding area from damage.

Remove the cluster lid C. Refer to IP-5, "Removal and Installation" in the Instrument Panel assembly.
SIDE VENTILATOR GRILLE
1. Remove the instrument panel.
2. Remove the side ventilator grille.

1. Remove the cluster lid C. Refer to IP-5, "Removal and Installation" .
SIDE VENTILATOR GRILLE
1. Remove the instrument panel. Refer to IP-5, "Removal and
Installation" .
2. Remove the side ventilator grille.

2. Remove the screws (4), and pull out combination meter.
3. Disconnect connectors and remove combination meter.

COMBINATION METERS (RHD MODELS)
THERMAL TRANSMITTER CHECK
Check the resistance between the terminals of thermal transmitter
and body ground.
Removal and Installation for Combination MeterEKS0030Z
1. Remove the cluster lid A. Refer to IP-3, "INSTRUMENT PANEL
ASSEMBLY" .
2. Remove the screws (4), and pull out combination meter.
3. Disconnect connectors and remove combination meter.
Disassembly and Assembly for Combination MeterEKS00310
1. Disengaged the tabs(8) to separate front cover.
2. Remove finisher.
3. Remove bulbs.
Water temperature Resistance
60°C (140°F) Approx. 170 - 210Ω

AUDIO UNIT
All voltage inspections are made with:
●Ignition switch ON or ACC
●Audio unit ON
●Audio unit connected (If audio unit is removed for inspection, supply a ground to the case using a jumper
wire.)
ANTENNA
Using a jumper wire, clip an auxiliary ground between antenna and body.
●If reception improves, check antenna ground (at body surface).
●If reception does not improve, check main feeder cable for short circuit or open circuit.
Removal and Installation of Audio UnitEKS002PU
1. Remove instrument cluster lid “C”.
● Refer to IP-7, "CLUSTER LID C" in “Instrument Panel (IP)” section.
2. Remove screws and connector, and then remove audio unit.
3. Remove screws, and then bracket.
