The engine management system is faulty, there is a risk of destruction of the catalytic converter.
You must stop immediately where it is safe to do so.
Park, switch off the ignition and contact a P E U G E O T d e a l e r .
Low fuel level fi x e d w i t h t h e n e e d l e in the red zone. The fuel tank contains approximately 5 litres.
Depending on your style of driving and your engine, you have enough fuel left to drive approximately 30 miles (50 km).
Fill your fuel tank as soon as possible. Capacity approximately 60 litres.
Never continue to drive until you run out of fuel, this could damage the emission control and injection systems.
Coolant temperature fi x e d w i t h t h e n e e d l e in the red zone. The temperature of the cooling system is too high.
You must stop immediately where it is safe to do so.
Wait until the engine has cooled down before topping up the level, if necessary.
If the problem persists, park, switch off t h e i g n i t i o n a n d c a l l a P E U G E O T d e a l e r .

which operate with rechargeable batteries.
You have a 12 V charger with two out-
puts permitting simultaneous charging
of both headphones.
It is also possible to connect a 3

For the airbags to be fully
effective, observe the
following safety rules:
Sit in a normal upright position.
W e a r a c o r r e c t l y a d j u s t e d s e a t b e l t .
Do not leave anything between the
occupants and the airbags (a child,
p e t , o b j e c t . . . ) . T h i s c o u l d h a m p e r t h e
o p e r a t i o n o f t h e a i r b a g s o r i n j u r e t h e
occupants.
After an accident or if the vehicle has
been stolen or broken into, have the
airbag systems checked.
All work on the airbag system is strict-
ly forbidden unless it is carried out by
q u a l i fi e d p e r s o n n e l o f t h e P E U G E O T
network.
Even if all of the precautions men-
t i o n e d a r e o b s e r v e d , a r i s k o f i n j u r y
or of minor burns to the head, chest
or arms when an airbag is triggered
c a n n o t b e r u l e d o u t . T h e b a g i n fl a t e s
almost instantly (within a few mil-
l i s e c o n d s ) t h e n d e fl a t e s w i t h i n t h e
same time discharging the hot gas
via openings provided for this pur-
pose. Front airbags
Do not drive holding the steering
wheel by its spokes or resting your
hands on the centre part of the
wheel.
Passengers must not place their feet
on the dashboard.
If possible, do not smoke as deploy-
ment of the airbags can cause burns
o r t h e r i s k o f i n j u r y f r o m a c i g a r e t t e
or pipe.
Never remove or pierce the steering
wheel or hit it violently.
Side airbags
Use only approved covers on the
s e a t s . T h e s e w i l l n o t h i n d e r i n fl a t i o n o f
the side airbags. Consult a PEUGEOT
dealer.
D o n o t fi x o r a p p l y a n y t h i n g t o t h e
s e a t b a c k s . T h i s c o u l d c a u s e i n j u r y
to the chest or arms if the side air bag
is triggered.
Do not sit with the upper part of the
body any nearer to the door than
necessary.
Curtain airbags

T h i s c o u l d c a u s e i n j u r y t o t h e h e a d i f
the curtain airbag is triggered.
Do not remove the grab handles in-
stalled on the roof, they play a part in
securing the curtain airbags.

BATTERY
Procedure for charging your battery
w h e n i t i s fl a t o r f o r s t a r t i n g t h e e n g i n e
using another battery.
Access to the battery Starting using another battery
Connect the red cable to the posi-
t i v e t e r m i n a l ( + ) o f t h e fl a t b a t t e r y A ,
then to the positive terminal (+) of
the slave battery B .
Connect one end of the green or
black cable to the negative termi-
nal (-) of the slave battery B .
Connect the other end of the green
or black cable to the earth point C
on your vehicle (engine mounting).
O p e r a t e t h e s t a r t e r , l e t t h e e n g i n e
run.
Wait until the engine returns to idle
and disconnect the cables.
The battery is located under the bonnet.
T o g a i n a c c e s s t o i t :
open the bonnet using the interior
l e v e r , t h e n t h e e x t e r i o r l e v e r ,
s e c u r e t h e b o n n e t s t r u t ,
remove the plastic cover to gain ac-
c e s s t o t h e t w o t e r m i n a l s ,
u n c l i p t h e f u s e b o x t o r e m o v e t h e
b a t t e r y , i f n e c e s s a r y .

charge remaining in the battery.

Set-up
With the engine running, connect
your portable system to the RCA con-
nectors (e.g. with AV1 on the left).
Press the system's ON/OFF button,
the indicator lamp comes on and the
AV1 indicator lamps come on.
Press and hold the ON/OFF button
on the headphones, the indicator
l a m p o n t h e h e a d p h o n e s fl a s h e s i n
blue.
Press and hold the system's ON/OFF
button, the pairing with the head-
phones is complete when the blue
indicator lamps on the headphones
and on the system (in the shape of
headphones) are lit continuously.
Press the ON/OFF buttons on the
screens if you have a video source.
Start playing your portable system. If your seat is in the table position, re-
move the head restraint to avoid dam-
aging the screen:
- Unclip the protective boot.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Raise the head restraint.
