ACCESS
SHUTTER SHUTTER
The shutter is manual, slide it.
It is stored automatically when the roof
is opened. Check that the sunroof is not
open in tilt mode before closing
the shutter.
The shutter cannot be closed
when the sunroof is open in
sliding mode .
Always remove the key from the
ignition when leaving the vehi-
cle, even for a short time.
If the roof meets an obstacle
during operation, you must re-
verse the movement of the roof.
To do this, press the control con-
cerned.
When the driver operates the
roof control, he must ensure that
no one is preventing the roof
from closing correctly.
The driver must ensure that pas-
sengers use the sunroof cor-
rectly.
Be aware of children when oper-
ating the roof.

FUEL TANK Opening the cap may trigger an air in-
take noise. This vacuum, which is com-
pletely normal, is caused by the sealing
of the fuel circuit.
T o fi l l t h e t a n k s a f e l y :
it is imperative that the engine is
switched off,
pull the control A located at the bot-
tom right of the driver’s seat to re-
l e a s e t h e f u e l fi l l e r fl a p ,
o p e n t h e f u e l fi l l e r fl a p B ,
turn the cap C to the left,
W h e n y o u h a v e fi l l e d t h e t a n k :
r e fi t t h e c a p , i n s e r t i n g t h e u p p e r p a r t
fi r s t ,
screw in the cap to the right,
c l o s e t h e fl a p .
E n s u r e t h a t t h e f u e l fi l l e r fl a p i s c l o s e d
correctly.
remove the cap C ,
fi l l t h e t a n k , b u t do not continue af-
ter the 3rd cut-off of the nozzle ;
this could cause malfunctions.
Low fuel level
Filling
A l a b e l , a f fi x e d o n t h e i n s i d e o f t h e fl a p ,
reminds you of the type of fuel to be
used in relation to your engine.
More than 5 litres of fuel must be add-
ed in order to be registered by the fuel
gauge. When the tank minimum lev-
el is reached, this indication
appears on the instrument
p a n e l d i s p l a y . W h e n i t fi r s t
comes on, approximately
10 litres of fuel remain.
The symbol fl a s h e s s l o w l y (approxi-
mately once per second).
When the symbol begins to
fl a s h r a p i d l y (approximately
twice per second), there is not
much fuel remaining in your tank
(approximately 5 litres).
I t i s e s s e n t i a l t o fi l l t h e t a n k t o
avoid running out of fuel.
This symbol indicates that the
fuel tank cap is located on the
left-hand side of the vehicle.

Quality of the fuel used for
petrol engines
The petrol engines are perfectly com-
patible with E10 type petrol biofuels
(containing 10 % ethanol), conforming
to European standards EN 228 and
EN 15376.
E85 type fuels (containing up to 85 %
ethanol) are reserved exclusively for ve-
hicles marketed for the use of this type
of fuel (BioFlex vehicles). The quality of
the ethanol must comply with European
standard EN 15376.
For Brazil only, special vehicles are
marketed to run on fuels containing up
to 100 % ethanol (type E100). Quality of the fuel used for
Diesel engines
The Diesel engines are perfectly com-
patible with biofuels which conform to
current and future European standards
(diesel fuel which complies with stand-
ard EN 590 mixed with a biofuel which
complies with standard EN 14214)
available at the pumps (containing up
to 7 % Fatty Acid Methyl Ester).
The B30 biofuel can be used in cer-
tain Diesel engines; however, this use
is subject to strict application of the
special servicing conditions. Consult a
PEUGEOT dealer.
The use of any other type of (bio)fuel
(vegetable or animal oils, pure or diluted,
domestic fuel...) is strictly prohibited (risk
of damage to the engine and fuel circuit).

The various front and rear lights of the

Front and rear fog lamps

The fog lamps operate with the dipped

To switch on the front fog lamps,
turn the push ring C forwards one
n o t c h .
To switch on the rear fog lamps, turn
the push ring C f o r w a r d s t w o n o t c h e s .
To switch off the front fog lamps,
turn the push ring C rearwards one
n o t c h .
To switch off the rear fog lamps,
turn the push ring C rearwards two
n o t c h e s .
The ring C returns to its initial position
a u t o m a t i c a l l y .
The front fog lamps are switched on
a u t o m a t i c a l l y w h e n y o u s w i t c h o n t h e
r e a r f o g l a m p s .
The rear fog lamps are switched off
a u t o m a t i c a l l y w h e n y o u s w i t c h o f f t h e
d i p p e d / m a i n b e a m h e a d l a m p s o r t h e

t i o n s , t h e p o w e r o f t h e i r b e a m s
m a y d a z z l e o t h e r d r i v e r s .
Do not forget to switch off the
front fog lamps and the rear fog
l a m p s w h e n t h e y a r e n o l o n g e r
n e c e s s a r y .
Lights on buzzer
T h e t r i g g e r i n g o f a n a u d i b l e s i g n a l
when the driver's door is opened
w a r n s t h e d r i v e r t h a t h e h a s f o r -
gotten to switch off his vehicle's
l i g h t s , w i t h t h e i g n i t i o n o f f .
In this case, switching off the
l i g h t s s t o p s t h e a u d i b l e s i g n a l .
If condensation is present, it is
a d v i s a b l e t o s w i t c h t h e h e a d -
lamps on for a few minutes in order
t o c l e a r i t .
