Cruise control

This comes on when the cruisecontrol has been activated. Press the "ON/OFF" button to activate/deactivate thecruise control.
Active stabilitycontrol and traction control (ASC/TCL)

flashing.Operation of the ASC/ TCL systems. The systems optimise traction and improve the
directional stability of the vehicle.
Adapt your driving and moderate your speed.

fixed. Fault in the ASC/TCL systems. Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Stop & Star t(Auto Stop & Go)function
fix
ed. When the vehicle stops (red lights,
traffic jams, ...) the Stop & Star t (AS&G) function has put the engine
into STOP mode. The warnin
g lamp goes off and the engine restarts
automatically in START mode, as soon as you want to move off.

flashes for a few
seconds, then goes off.
STOP mode is temporarily
unavailable. or START mode is invoked
automatically.
See "Stop & Start (AS&G) function" for special cases
with
STOP mode and STA R T mode.
Diesel engine pre-heating fixed. The engine is cold and:
- the ignition switch is at the ONposition (ignition on), or
- the STA R T/STOP
starting button
has been pressed (ignition on).

With key starting, wait until the warning lamp has gone off
before starting.
With the Keyless Entry and Star ting system, the engine will only start after the warning lamp has gone off.
The duration for which the warnin
g lamp is on is determined by
the climatic conditions (up to 30 seconds in severe weather).
If the engine does not star t, switch the ignition off and then onagain and wait again until the warning lamp goes off, then star t
the engine.

Deactivation indicator lamps
If one of the following indicator lamps comes on, this confirms that the corresponding system has been switched off intentionally.This is may be accompanied by an audible signal and a message in the screen.

ASC/TCLfixed. The ASC/ TCL off switch, located at
the bottom of the dashboard (driver'sside) has been pressed.
A
SC/TCL is deactivated.
ASC: active stability control .
TCL: traction control. Press the button to activate the A
SC/TCL.
The ASC/TCL system is automatically activated on starting the vehicle.
Stop & Star tsystem (Auto Stop & Go)
fixed. The off switch for the Stop & Star t (AS&G) system, located at the bottom
of the dashboard (driver's side) has been pressed.
The Stop & Start (AS&G) system is deaactivated.Press the switch a
gain to activate the Stop & Star t(AS&G) system.

Instrument panel screen


Each time the engine is started: warning lamps and/or messages come on, applying a checking self test. They go off after a few seconds.


When
you want to see the trip computer information, you can choose to ignore the aler ts, by pressing the INFO
button on the dashboard.

The messa
ges displayed may vary according to the type of display screen (type 1 or type 2) in the instrument panel.
Cer tain messages are only displayed in the type 2 screen.
When this symbol appears: make a
short press. When this symbol appears: make a longpress.
Ignition off.Ignition on(with a manual gearbox).Ignition on (with a CVT gearbox).

Warnings and alerts


When an aler t occurs, the displayed information then disappears. the warning lamp and its associated message appear, accompanied if appropriate by
an audible signal.
When there are several aler ts, they are displayed in turn and this symbol appears. It remains displayed while there are still alerts.
You will then be able to displa
y the aler ts again by pressing the INFO
button several times to cycle through the trip computer information and return to
the alerts.

Warning messages (ignition at "OFF")
You have forgotten to switch off the
vehicle lighting. Switch off the vehicle lighting by
placing the control at OFF. There is an intermittent audible signal.
The alarm has been tri
ggered.
The batter
y for the Keyless Entryand Starting system is flat. Replace the battery (see "Changingthe batteries").
The electronic key that you have on
your person is not recognised. Check that you have the correct electronic key. If the message persists, contact a
PEUGEOT dealer.
The electronic ke
y is still in the
vehicle and
you have tried to lock
the doors or boot from the outside. Ensure that
you have the electronic
key on your person before lockingthe vehicle.
One of the doors or the boot is notproperly closed when locking the
vehicle from the outside.
Close the door or the boot, then lock
the vehicle.

the vehicle.

y has not been removed from the housing in the glove box. Remove the electronic ke

The steering column is locked. Switch the ignition on and turn the
steering wheel slightly to unlock the
steering column.
The en
gine is off but the gear lever
is not in position P . P Place the gear lever in position P.P Only for vehicles fitted with a "CVT"gearbox.

The steering column has not lockedafter opening the driver's door. Lock the steering column by turning
the steering wheel slightly before leaving the vehicle.
Fault with the electrical system. Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or

PEUGEOT. If the problem persists, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Fault with the brakin
g system. You must stop as soon as it is safe
to do so. Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Fault with the anti-lock braking
s
ystem (ABS). Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop. The vehicle retains conventional
braking without assistance but you
are advised to stop.
One of the doors or the boot is notproperly closed. Close the door or the boot. The opening in question is identified
in the screen.
The bonnet is not properly closed. Close the bonnet.

ault with the electronic anti-theft
system. Switch off the ignition then start the engine again. If the problem persists, contact a
PEUGEOT dealer.
The driver's door is open and theignition is still on. Switch off the ignition before leavingthe vehicle.

e driver has not fastened or has unfastened their seat belt. Fasten your seat belt. There is a continuous audible signal
if you drive without fastening your seat belt.

function of the fuel system. Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
