a few seconds when you turn on
the ignition, then goes off.
This warning lamp should go off when the engine is started.
If it does not go off, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Fixed.One of the airbag or seat belt
pretensioner systems has a fault. Have them checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Under-inflation
Fixed. One or more wheels has
insufficient pressure. Check the pressure of the tyres as soon as possible.
This check should preferably be carried out when the
tyres are cold.

accompanied by the
Service warning lamp.The tyre pressure monitoring
system is faulty.
Under-inflation detection is no longer assured.
Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a

Passenger's
front airbag Fixed, in the seat belt

display. The control switch, located in
the glove box, is set to the "
OFF"
position.
The passenger's front airbag is
deactivated.
You may install a rear ward
facing child seat, unless there is
a fault with the airbags (airbag
warning lamp on). Set the control to the "
ON" position to activate the
passenger front airbag. In this case, do not install a
rear ward facing child seat on this seat.

out of fuel.
This warning lamp will come on every time the
ignition is switched on, accompanied by a message
and an audible signal, until a sufficient addition of fuel
is made.
This audible signal and message are repeated with
increasing frequency as the fuel level drops and
approaches "0".
Fuel tank capacity: approximately 56
litres.
Never continue to drive until you run out of fuel as
this could damage the emission control and injection
systems.
Engine
diagnostic

The engine management system
has a fault.
There is a risk that the catalytic converter will be destroyed.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Fixed.The emission control system has
a fault.The warning lamp should go off when the engine is started.

qualified workshop without delay.

Diesel engine
pre-heatingFixed.
When the ignition is switched
on with a key in the ignition
switch or a starting instruction is
made using the "START/STOP"
button, the engine temperature
makes engine pre-heating
necessary. The period of illumination of the indicator lamp is
determined by the ambient conditions (up to about
thirty seconds in severe winter conditions).
With an ignition switch and key, wait until the indicator
lamp goes off before starting.
With
K
eyless Entry and Starting, once it goes off,
starting is immediate, on the condition that the brake
pedal remains pressed with an automatic gearbox.
With
K
eyless Entry and Starting, once it goes off,
starting is immediate, on the condition that the clutch
pedal remains pressed with a manual gearbox.
If the engine does not start, switch the ignition off and
then on, wait until the indicator lamp goes off again,
then start the engine.

Resetting the service indicator
The ser vice indicator must be reset after each
service.
If you have carried out the ser vice on your
vehicle yourself:

If you have to disconnect the battery
following this operation, lock the vehicle
and wait at least 5
minutes for the reset to
be registered.
Retrieving the service
information
You can access the ser vice information at any
time.
Engine oil level indicator
F press and hold the trip distance recorder reset button,

elease the button when " =0" is displayed;
the spanner disappears. F

button. The ser vice information is displayed for a
few seconds, then disappears. (depending on version)
On versions fitted with an electric oil level
indicator, the state of the engine oil level is
displayed in the instrument panel for a few
seconds, after the servicing information.
The level read will only be correct if the
vehicle is on level ground and the engine
has been off for more than 30 minutes.
