Electronic engine immobiliser
the remote control contains an electronic chip
which has a special code. When the ignition is
switched on, this code must be recognised in
order for starting to be possible.

engine management system a few moments
after the ignition is switched off and prevents
starting of the engine by anyone who does not
have the key.

Changing the battery
Do not throw the remote control
batteries away, they contain metals
which are harmful to the environment.

Air flow

the desired air flow.
If you place the air flow control at
the minimum position (off), the
temperature in the vehicle will no longer
be maintained. However, a slight flow of
air can still be felt due to the movement
of the vehicle.
Heating / Ventilation
F turn the knob from " LO"
(cold) to " HI" (hot) to
adjust the temperature to
your wishes.

In order for these systems to be fully effective, follow the operation and maintenance
guidelines below:

btain an even air distribution, take care not to obstruct the exterior air intake grilles
located at the base of the windscreen, the nozzles, the vents and the air outlets, as well
as the air extractor located at the rear.

D
o not cover the sunshine sensor, located at the top of the windscreen; this is used for
regulation of the air conditioning system.

o
p
erate the air conditioning system for at least 5 to 10 minutes, once or twice a month
to keep it in per fect working order.

E
nsure that the passenger compartment filter is in good condition and have the filter
elements replaced regularly.

e recommend the use of a combined passenger compartment filter. t

anks to its
special active additive, it contributes to the purification of the air breathed by the
occupants and the cleanliness of the passenger compartment (reduction of allergic
symptoms, bad odours and greasy deposits).

nsure correct operation of the air conditioning system, you are also advised to have
it checked regularly as recommended in the warranty and maintenance record.

Recommendations for heating, ventilation and air conditioning
If after an extended stop in sunshine,
the interior temperature is very high, first
ventilate the passenger compartment for
a few moments.
Put the air flow control at a setting high
enough to quickly change the air in the
passenger compartment.

e air conditioning system does not
contain chlorine and does not present
any danger to the ozone layer.
th

e condensation created by the air
conditioning results in a discharge
of water under the vehicle which is
perfectly normal.
When towing the maximum load on a steep gradient in high temperatures, switching off the
air conditioning increases the available engine power and so improves the towing ability.
Stop & Start
the heating and air conditioning
systems only work when the engine is
running.

aintain a comfortable temperature
in the passenger compartment, you can
temporarily deactivate the Stop & Start
system.

Air vents
to close a vent, move the control
towards the outside of the vehicle. Slight
resistance may be felt.

Electric unfolding
the electric unfolding of the mirrors is possible
with the remote control or the key on unlocking
the vehicle, unless folding was selected using
switch A . In this case, pull the switch rear wards
from the centre position again.

mirrors can be folded electrically from the inside,
with the vehicle parked and the ignition on:

Move the lever in all four directions to adjust.

If the mirror casing has come out of its initial
location, with the vehicle stationary, reposition
the mirror casing manually or use the electric
folding control.
