Thank you for choosing a Peugeot iOn.
This document presents the information and recommendations required
for you to be able to explore your vehicle in complete safety.
Your vehicle will be fitted with only some of the equipment described in
this document, depending on its trim level, version and the specification
for the country in which it was sold.In this document you will find all of the instructions and
recommendations on use that will allow you to enjoy your vehicle to the
fullest. It is strongly recommended that you familiarise yourself with it,
as well as the Warranty and Maintenance Record which will provide you
with information about warranties, servicing and roadside assistance
associated with your vehicle.
The descriptions and illustrations are given without any obligation.
Automobiles PEUGEOT reser ves the right to modify the technical
specifications, equipment and accessories without having to update this
edition of the guide.
If ownership of your vehicle is transferred, please ensure this Complete

Warning and indicator lamps
Visual identifiers informing the driver that
a system is in operation, switched off (on/
off indicator lamps) or has developed a fault
(warning lamp).
When the ignition is switched on
Certain warning lamps come on for a few
seconds when the vehicle's ignition is switched
on.
When the vehicle is started, these same
warning lamps should go off.
If they remain on, before driving refer to the
information on the warning lamp concerned.
Associated warnings
The illumination of certain warning lamps may
be accompanied by an audible signal.
There are two types of lighting for warning
lamps, fixed (continuous) or flashing.
Certain warning lamps may come on in
one of two modes. Only by relating the
type of lighting to the operating status of
the vehicle can it be ascertained whether
the situation is normal or whether a fault
has occurred.

Warning lamps
When the engine is running or the vehicle is
being driven, the lighting of one of the following
warning lamps indicates a fault which requires
action on the part of the driver.
Any fault resulting in the lighting of a warning
lamp must be investigated further.
If you encounter any problems, contact a
PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Operation indicator lamps
The lighting of one of the following indicator
lamps confirms that the corresponding system
is on.
This may be accompanied by an audible signal.
Deactivation indicator lamps
If one of the following indicator lamps comes
on, this confirms that the corresponding system
has been switched off intentionally.
This may be accompanied by an audible signal.

The main battery is being
charged. The lamp goes out once charging is complete.
Flashing. The recharging cable is
connected to the vehicle's
socket, but the main battery is
not being charged. Check the recharging cable connection.
Ancillaries battery
charge Fixed.
The ancillaries battery charging
circuit has a fault (dirty or loose
terminals, converter fault, etc.). The warning lamp should go off when the engine is
started.
If it does not go off, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Front seat belt
not fastened/
unfastened Fixed, then flashing,
accompanied by an
audible signal. The driver and/or front
passenger has not fastened or
has unfastened their seat belt. Pull the strap then insert the tongue in the buckle.
Rear right seat
belt unfastened Fixed.
The rear right passenger has
unfastened their seat belt. Pull the strap then insert the tongue in the buckle.
Rear left seat belt
unfastened Fixed.
The rear left passenger has
unfastened their seat belt. Pull the strap then insert the tongue in the buckle.
Airbags Temporarily on. This warning lamp comes on for
a few seconds when you turn on
the ignition, then goes off. If it does not go off, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Fixed. One of the airbag or seat
belt pyrotechnic pretensioner
systems has a fault. Have them checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.

Door(s) open/Boot
open Fixed, accompanied
by an audible signal. A door or the boot is still open. Close the door or boot.
Parking brake Fixed. The parking brake is applied or
not properly released. Release the parking brake to switch off the warning
light, keeping your foot on the brake pedal.
Observe the safety recommendations.

Braking Fixed. The brake fluid level has
dropped significantly.
There is a braking assistance
system fault. Stop as soon as it is safe to do so.
Top up with brake fluid approved by PEUGEOT.
If the problem persists, have the system checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
+ Fixed, associated
with the ABS warning
lamp.
The electronic brake force
distribution (EBFD) system is
faulty. You must stop as soon as it is safe to do so.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Anti-lock Braking
System (ABS) Fixed.
The anti-lock braking system
has a fault. The vehicle retains conventional braking capabilities.
Drive carefully at reduced speed and contact a
PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop without
d e l ay.

Dynamic stability
control and anti-
slip regulation
(DSC/ASR)
Flashing.
Activation of the DSC/ASR
systems. The systems optimise traction and allow improved
directional stability of the vehicle.
Adapt your driving style and moderate your speed.
Main batter y
protection system Fixed.
The state of charge of the main
battery is insufficient or the
temperature of the main battery is
insufficient. Limited engine power available.
Recharge the main battery as soon as possible.
If the warning lamp does not go off, contact a
PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Fixed.
The DSC/ASR deactivation
button is active.
DSC/ASR is deactivated.
DSC: Dynamic stability control.
ASR: Anti-slip regulation. Press the button to activate the DSC/ASR.
The DSC/ASR system is activated automatically when
the vehicle is started.

Under-inflationFixed. The pressure in one or more of
the tyres is too low. Check the pressure in the tyres as soon as possible.
This check should preferably be carried out when the
tyres are cold.
You must reinitialise the system after adjusting one or
more tyre pressures and after changing one or more
wheels.

Flashing, then fixed. The function is faulty and/or at
least one of the wheels has no
sensor detected. Tyre pressure monitoring is no longer ensured.
Have the system checked by a Peugeot dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Warning/indicator lamp

Fault in the main electrical
system. You must stop as soon as it is safe to do so.

Passenger's airbag
system Fixed, in the central
console.
The control switch, located in the
glove box or in the central console
(depending on equipment), is set
to the "
OFF" position.
The passenger's front airbag is
deactivated.Set the control switch to the " ON" position to activate
the passenger's front airbag.
In this case, do not install a "rear ward facing" child
seat on the front passenger seat.
Remember to check the status of this control switch
before starting your vehicle.
Rear foglamp Fixed. The rear foglamp has been
switched on using the ring on the
lighting control stalk. Turn the ring on the lighting control stalk to the rear to
switch off the rear foglamp.

The sidelamps and/or dipped beam
headlamps have been switched on.
Front foglamps Fixed. The front foglamps have been switched on
using the ring on the lighting control stalk. Turn the ring on the lighting control stalk
twice rear wards to switch off the front
foglamps.
Main beam
headlamps Fixed.
The lighting control stalk has been pulled
towards you. Pull the lighting control stalk to return to
dipped beam headlamps.
Motor braking
reduction Flashing.
The main battery is fully charged, the motor
braking is temporarily reduced. Anticipate when you need to brake: use
the brake pedal to slow down or stop the
vehicle.
Ready
(ready to drive)
Fixed, accompanied by
an audible signal when
it comes on.The vehicle is ready to drive, you can
operate the accelerator now.
The lamp stays on as long as the vehicle is
powered up.
