Proceedasfollowsintheeventofatransmissionfault:
1.Stopinasafeplace.
2.MoveselectorlevertopositionP,switchtheignitionoffandwaitfor10seconds.
3.Starttheengine.2ndgearinselectorpositionDandreversegearRarenowavailable.
4.HavethefaultseentoimmediatelyatanauthorizedPorschedealer.

1.CarefullyunclipbothcoversAwithascrewdriv-er.IfthecarisequippedwithHomeLink,theHomeLinkbuttonsmustbecarefullyunclippedinsteadofthecovers.
2.UnscrewthetwoscrewsB.
3.Folddownthecoverofthelifting/slidingroofdriveattherear.RemovetheAllenkey(arrow)fromitsholder.
4.InserttheAllenkeyintothedriveaxle.
5.PresstheAllenkeyintothedriveaxle,keepitpressedandturnitclockwiseuntilthelifting/slidingroofisclosed.
6.RemovetheAllenkey.Closethecoverandscrewinthescrews.
7.HavethefaultremediedatanauthorizedPorschedealer.

Riskofdamagetothelifting/slidingroof.
Afteremergencyoperation,donotoperatethelifting/slidingroofusingtherockerswitch.

4.Repeatprocedurewiththerightsideflap.RemovetheAllenkey.

1.PulltheplasticlidJdownonthefrontcorners.Pushthelidcarefullytotherearandtakeitoff.
2.TaketheAllenkeyKoutoftheoddmentstraybetweenthefrontseats.
3.InserttheAllenkeyKintotheopeningLandturninthedirectionofarrow“open”untilmarkedresistancecanbefelt.ThelockinghookHisnowextended.
4.PullouttheAllenkeyK.
5.Pulltheconvertibletopallthewayforwardtothewindshield.

1.InserttheAllenkeyagain.Turninthedirectionofarrow“close”untilyoucanfeelmarkedresistanceandtheconvertibletopiscomplete-lylocked.
2.RemovetheAllenkey.
Mountingtheplasticlid
Pushtheplasticlidovertheconvertibletoplockingmechanismfrombehind.ThelidmustengagecentredintheguideN.Pushthelidupwardsatitsfrontedgeandengage.

Donotdrivewithouttheplasticlidmounted.
Closingtheconvertible-topcompartmentlid
