YourauthorizedPorschedealerwillbegladtogiveadviceaboutcorrecthardtopstorage.
Sincetheconvertibletopstaysopenforalongtime,itmustbeabsolutelydryandcleanbeforebeingopenedtoinstallthehardtop.Thispreventsdampstainsandabrasiondamage.
Makesurethatthehardtopisplacedonaclean,softsurface.
Removingthehardtop
1.Openallfoursidewindows.
2.Pulloffplasticcoverofthefronthardtoplock(arrow).
3.PressredlockingbuttonAofthefrontlockinglever.FullyopenlockingleverB.

4.TakeunlockinghandleDfromthestoragetraybetweenthefrontseats.
5.PositionunlockinghandleDonthedotmarking.CarefullyremovetheplasticcoversConbothsidesofthehardtop.
6.InsertunlockinghandleDintooneoftherearhardtoplocks.Unscrewthefasteningscrewapprox.2turns,pulloffthehandle,andcompletelyunscrewthescrewbyhand(approx.8turns).
7.Pulloutthefasteningscrewuptothestopandturnitanticlockwise2turns(topreventdamage).
8.Repeatprocedureontheothersideofthehardtop.
9.Togetherwithasecondpersonontheotherside,graspthehardtopatpointsEandF.
Warning!
Dangerofpinchingngersorhandsatthepoints“F”.
Evenlyliftthehardtopatbothsides.
10.Firstpullthehardtoprearwardandupoutofthelockingelements.Carefullyliftthehardtopupandoverthevehicletotherear.

10.SwivelfrontlockingleverGtotherear.ThelatchinghookHmustengageinthewindshieldframe(arrow).ThewhitemarkinglineJontheredlockingbuttonmustbecomevisiblewhenthehardtopislockedproperly.

12.Tightenthefasteningscrewbyhand.ThentightenthefasteningscrewwiththeunlockinghandleD(tighteningtorque34ft.lb.(46Nm)).
13.Repeatprocedureontheothersideofthehardtop.
14.FitbothplasticcoversCintothetrimpanelsoftherearhardtoplockingelementssothatthemarkingpointsareoppositeeachother.
15.Storeunlockinghandleinstoragetraybetweenthefrontseats.
