Using the AUX por t
: If equipped
This port can be used to connect a portable audio device and listen
to it through the vehicle’s speakers.
Open the cover and connect
the portable audio device.

Operating portable audio devices connected to the audio system
The volume and sound quality can be adjusted using the vehicle’s audio
controls. All other adjustments must be made on the portable audio device
itself.
When using a portable audio device connected to the power outlet
Noise may occur during playback. Use the battery power source of the por-
table audio device to reduce noise.

Using the steering wheel audio switches
Turning on the power
Press when the audio system is turned off.
The audio system can be turned off by holding the switch down until you
hear two beeps.
Selecting the audio mode
Press when the audio system is turned on. The audio mode
changes as follows each time the button is pressed.

Adjusting the volume
Press “ ” on to increase the volume and “ ” to decrease the
volume.
Hold down the button to continue increasing or decreasing the volume.
Audio features can be controlled using the switches on the steering
wheel.
Operation may differ depending on the type of audio system or navi-
gation system. For details, refer to the manual provided with the
audio system or navigation system.

Selecting a radio station
Press several times until FM or AM mode is displayed.
Press “” or “” on to select a preset station.
To scan for receivable stations, press and hold the switch until you
hear a beep.
Selecting a track/file
Press several times until “CD”, “MP3” or “WMA” is dis-
played.
Press “” or “” on to select the desired track/file.
Selecting a folder
Press several times until “MP3” or “WMA” is displayed.
Press and hold “” or “” on until you hear a beep.
CAUTION
To reduce the risk of an accident
Exercise care when operating the audio switches on the steering wheel.

Interior lights list
Illuminated entry system
When the interior light switch is in the position, the interior light auto-
matically turns on/off according to the presence of the electronic key (vehi-
cles with smart entry & start system), whether the doors are locked/
unlocked, whether the doors are open/closed, and the “ENGINE START
STOP” switch mode (vehicles with smart entry & start system) or engine
switch position (vehicles without smart entry & start system).
To prevent the battery from being discharged
If the interior light remains on when the door is not fully closed and the inte-
rior light switch is in the position, the light will go off automatically
after 20 minutes.
Customization that can be configured at any authorized Toyota dealer
or repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional
Settings (e.g. The time elapsed before lights turn off) can be changed.

List of storage features
CAUTION
Items that should not be left in the storage spaces
Do not leave glasses, lighters or spray cans in the storage spaces, as this
may cause the following when cabin temperature becomes high:
Glasses may be deformed by heat or cracked if they come into contact
with other stored items.
Lighters or spray cans may explode. If they come into contact with other
stored items, the lighter may catch fire or the spray can may release gas,
causing a fire hazard.

CAUTION
Items unsuitable for the cup holder
Do not place anything other than cups or aluminum cans in the cup holders.
Other items may be thrown out of the holders in the event of an accident or
sudden braking and cause injury. If possible, cover hot drinks to prevent
burns.

NOTICE
Items that should not be stowed in the bottle holders
Put the cap on before stowing a bottle. Do not place open bottles in the bot-
tle holders, or glasses and paper cups containing liquid. The contents may
spill and glasses may break.
