The master warning light also
comes on or flashes in order to
indicate that a message is cur-
rently being displayed on the multi-
information display.
If any of the warning message or indicator comes on again after the
following actions have been performed, contact your Toyota dealer.
If a war ning message is displayed
If a warning is shown on the multi-information display, stay calm
and perform the following actions:

 Immediately stop the vehicle in a safe place

Indicates abnormal engine oil pressure
The warning message is shown if the engine oil
pressure is too low.

 Check the vehicle's surroundings and take
evasive action if necessary.

Alerts the driver that the vehicle has deviated
from the lane (while the LDA [Lane Departure
Alert] system is operating)
The lane line on the side the vehicle has devi-
ated from flashes in yellow.
The warning buzzer sounds continuously.
 Check around the vehicle and back to
inside of the lane lines.
Indicates that one or more of the side doors is not
fully closed The system also indicates which doors are not
fully closed.
If the vehicle reaches a speed of 3 mph (5
km/h), flashes and a buzzer sounds
to indicate that the door(s) are not yet fully
closed.
 Make sure that all the side doors are
closed.
Indicates that the back door is not fully closed If the vehicle reaches a speed of 3 mph (5
km/h), flashes and a buzzer sounds
to indicate that the back door is not yet fully
closed.
 Close the back door.

(with the “POWER” switch off and the driver’s

 Close the moon roof.

flashes and a buzzer sounds to indicate
that the parking br ake is still engaged.
 Release the parking brake.

should be performed soon.

Indicates that the Automatic High Beam switch is
pressed while the headlights are in low beam.
Turn the high beam on.
(If equipped)
Indicates that, since the VSC (Vehicle Stability
Control) system was turned off, the pre-collision
brake system operation is stopped
Turn the VSC on. ( P. 262)
(If equipped)
Indicates that the pre-collision system is disabled.
Have the vehicle inspected by your Toyota

Indicates that the hybrid battery (traction battery)

 When stopping the vehicle for a long
period of time, shift the shift lever to P. The

charged with the shift position in N.

 Shift the shift lever to P and restart the

 Shift the shift lever to P.
Indicates that the accelerator pedal is depressed

 Release the accelerator pedal and shift the
shift lever to D, B or R.
Indicates that the engine switch is turned to the
“ACC” or “LOCK” position (vehicles without a
smart key system) or the “POWER” switch is
turned to ACCESSORY mode or turned off (vehi-
cles with a smart key system) and the driver’s
door is opened while the lights are turned on A buzzer also sounds.
 Turn the lights off.
Indicates that the EV drive mode is not avail-
able

The reason the EV drive mode is not available
(the vehicle is idling, battery charge is low,
speed is higher than the EV drive mode operat-
ing speed range, accelerator pedal is
depressed too much) may be displayed.

 Use the EV drive mode when it becomes

matically canceled

Turn the TRAC on. ( P. 262)
Indicates that the accelerator and brake pedals
are being depressed simultaneously, and the
Brake Override System is operating. ( P. 167)
 Release the accelerator or brake pedal.
Indicates that the shift lever is shifted while the
accelerator pedal is being depressed
A buzzer also sounds.
 Release the accelerator pedal.
(If equipped)
The system is temporarily canceled because the
operating conditions of the front sensor (tempera-
ture, etc.) are not met.
The following systems may be suspended:
• PCS (Pre-Collision system) (if equipped)
• LDA (Lane Departure Alert) (if equipped)
• Automatic High Beam (if equipped)
The system can be operated when the
operating conditions of the front sensor
(temperature, etc.) are met. Turn the system
off, wait for a while, and then turn the sys-
tem back on.

The area of the windshield in front of the front
sensor is fogged up or covered with dirt, rain, ice,
snow, etc.
The following systems may be suspended:
• PCS (Pre-Collision system) (if equipped)
• LDA (Lane Departure Alert) (if equipped)
• Automatic High Beam (if equipped)
Turn the system off, clear the windshield of
dirt, fog, ice, etc. then turn the system back
on. ( P. 222)

Indicates that the LDA (Lane Departure Alert)
system cannot be used because the vehicle
speed is lower than approximately 32 mph (50
km/h)
 Drive the vehicle at 32 mph (50 km/h) or
higher.
(If equipped)
Indicates that the LDA (Lane Departure Alert)
system is suspended (The vehicle speed is too
high for the system to operate.)
Reduce the vehicle speed.
