The settings of the following items can be changed, refer to P. 666.
For functions that can be enabled or disabled, the function switches
between on and off each time is pressed.
● LDA (Lane Departure Alert) (P. 307)*1
Select to set up the alert sensitivity.
● RSA (Road Sign Assist) (P. 319)

Select to set up the following items.
• Notification method (excess speed/other warnings)
Select to change the notification method of the following warnings to no
notification/display only/display and buzzer.
Excess speed warning:
Warns the driver if the vehicle exceeds the speed displayed on the
speed limit sign on the multi-information display.
Other warnings:
Warns the driver if the system determines that the vehicle is overtaking
when a no overtaking sign is displayed on the multi-information display.
• Excess speed notification level
Select to set the speed threshold over which the excess speed warning
starts to operate when a speed limit sign is displayed on the multi-infor-
mation display.
●Clock
Adjusts the hour and minute, and switches between 12-hour and
24-hour display of the clock. (P. 133)

●Settings
Select the menu to set up the following items.
• Language
Select to change the language on the display.
•Units
Select to change the unit of measure for the multi-information display.
• (Eco Driving Indicator Light) setup*1
Select to activate/deactivate the Eco Driving Indicator Light
• Drive information
Select to select up to 2 items that will be displayed on a Drive informa-
tion screen.
• Pop-up display
Select to set the pop-up displays*2, which may appear in some situa-
tions, on/off.
• Default settings
Registered or changed meter settings will be deleted or returned to their
default setting.
*1: If equipped
*2: Stop & Start system operation time display (if equipped), Stop & Start sys-
tem status display (if equipped) and incoming call display of the hands-
free phone system (if equipped).

• When the button is pressed, the current displayed time is set.
• The clock display and adjustment is possible when the engine switch is
turned to “ON” position (vehicles without a smart entry & start system) or
IGNITION ON mode (vehicles with a smart entry & start system).
• Adjustments may be suspended when a pop-up display, etc., appears
during the adjustments.
The currently displayed time may be set.

■Pop-up display
In some situations, such as when a switch operation is performed, a pop-up
display will be temporarily displayed on the multi-information display.
The pop-up display function can be set on/off.
■Setting display automatic cancelation
“Settings” item in settings display is not selectable during driving and cannot
be operated. Also, the settings screen is temporarily canceled in the following
situations.
●A warning message is displayed.
●The vehicle starts off.
■Liquid crystal display
Small spots or light spots may appear on the display. This phenomenon is
characteristic of liquid crystal displays, and there is no problem continuing to
use the display.
■When disconnecting and reconnecting battery terminals
The drive information and clock data will be reset.
■Eco Driving Indicator Zone Display (vehicles with a Multidrive)
Eco Driving Indicator Light will not operate in the following conditions:
●The shift lever is in anything other than D.
●The vehicle is being driven in “SPORT” mode. (P. 253)
●The paddle shift switch is operated while the shift lever in D.
●The vehicle speed is approximately 130 km/h (80 mph) or higher. Suggests Zone of Eco driving and Eco
driving ratio based on acceleration.

In some situations the following Stop & Start system information will be tem-
porarily displayed on the multi-information display:
●Current Stop & Start system operation time
●Stop & Start operational status messages (P. 350)
■Arrow guide navigation (vehicles with a navigation system)
The arrow guide navigation appears only
while route guidance of the navigation
system is being performed. When a turn
approaches, the distance to the turn and
the turn direction are displayed.

WARNING
■Caution for use while driving
● When operating the multi-information display while driving, pay extra
attention to the safety of the area around the vehicle.
● Do not look continuously at the multi-information display while driving as
you may fail to see pedestrians, objects on the road, etc., ahead of the
vehicle.
■ The information display at low temperatures
Allow the interior of the vehicle to warm up before using the liquid crystal
information display. At extremely low temperatures, the display monitor may
respond slowly, and display changes may be delayed.
For example, there is a lag between the driver’s shifting and the new gear
number appearing on the display. This lag could cause the driver to down-
shift again, causing rapid and exce ssive engine braking and possibly an
accident resulting in death or injury.
■ Cautions during setting up the display
As the engine needs to be running during setting up the display, ensure that
the vehicle is parked in a place with adequate ventilation. In a closed area
such as a garage, exhaust gases including harmful carbon monoxide (CO)
may collect and enter the vehicle. This may lead to death or a serious
health hazard.
NOTICE
■ While setting up the display
To prevent battery discharge, ensure that the engine is running while setting
up the display features.

data
Vehicles without a smart entry & start system:
Average fuel consumption for the past 15 minutes is divided by
color into past averages and averages attained since the engine
switch was last turned to the “ON” position. Use the displayed aver-
age fuel consumption as a reference.
Vehicles with a smart entry & start system:
Average fuel consumption for the past 15 minutes is divided by
color into past averages and averages attained since the engine
switch was last turned to IGNITION ON mode. Use the displayed
average fuel consumption as a reference.

■Updating the past record data
Update the average fuel consumption by selecting “Update” to measure the
current fuel consumption again.
■Resetting the data
The fuel consumption data can be deleted by selecting “Clear”.
■Cruising range
Displays the estimated maximum distance that can be driven with the quan-
tity of fuel remaining.
This distance is computed based on your average fuel consumption.
As a result, the actual distance that can be driven may differ from that dis-
played.
