passengerbuckletheirseatbelts.Theseat-
beltreminderswitchesoffafter6secondsif
speedisbelow10km/h.Ifthedriverorfront
seatpassengerhavenotbuckledtheirseat-
belts,thereminderswitchesonagainwhen
thespeedexceeds10km/handswitchesoff
ifthespeeddropsbelow5km/h.
Iftheseatbeltisreleased,thefunctionreacti-
vateswhenspeedexceeds10km/h.NOTE!Theseatbeltreminderisintendedfor
anadultsittinginthefrontseat.Ifabelt-fitted
childseatisfittedinthefrontseat,the
seatbeltreminderdoesnotswitchon.
SeatbeltsandpregnancyTheseatbeltshouldalwaysbewornduring
pregnancy.Butitiscrucialthatitbewornin
thecorrectway.Thediagonalsectionshould
wrapovertheshoulderthenberouted
betweenthebreastsandtothesideofthe
belly.Thelapsectionshouldlayflatoverthe
thighsandaslowaspossibleunderthebelly.
Itmustneverbeallowedtorideupward.
Removeallslackfromthebeltandinsurethat
itfitsclosetothebodywithoutanytwists.
Asapregnancyprogresses,pregnantdrivers
shouldadjusttheirseatsandsteeringwheel
suchthattheycaneasilymaintaincontrolof
thevehicleastheydrive(whichmeansthey
mustbeabletoeasilyoperatethefootpedals
andsteeringwheel).Withinthiscontext,they
shouldstrivetopositiontheseatwithaslarge
adistanceaspossiblebetweentheirbelly
andthesteeringwheel.

smokeanddustcreatedwhentheairbags
aredeployedcancauseskinandeyeirri-
tationafterintensiveexposure.Incaseof
irritation,washwithcoldwater.Therapid

Right-handstalkswitchWindscreenwasherPullthelevertowardsthesteeringwheelto
activatethewindscreenwasher.Headlampwasher(optiononcertainmarkets)
High-pressurewashoftheheadlamps
consumesagreatdealofwasherfluid.To
savefluid,theheadlampsareonlywashed
everyfifthtime(withinatenminuteperiod).If
tenminuteshaveelapsedsincethelast
windscreenwashing,theheadlampsreceive
ahigh-pressurewashthenexttimethe
windscreeniswashed.ReducedwashingIfonlyapprox.onelitreofwasherfluid
remainsinthereservoir,thesupplytothe
headlampsandtherearwindowiscutoffin
ordertoprioritisecleaningofthewindscreen.
Wiper/washerfunction–rearwindow.RearwindowwasherandwiperMovetheleverforwardtostarttherear
windowwasher.

CRUISEONappearsonthecombined

Cruisecontrolcannotbeengagedatspeeds
below30km/horabove200km/h.
IncreasingordecreasingspeedIncreaseordecreasethespeedbypressing
andholding+or–.Thespeedofthecar
whenthebuttonisreleasedissetasthenew
speed.
Abriefpress(lessthanhalfasecond)
on+or–changesthespeedbyonekm/h.
NOTE!Atemporaryincreaseinspeed(less
thanoneminute)usingtheaccelerator,such
aswhileovertaking,doesnotaffectthecruise
controlsetting.Whenyoureleasetheaccel-
erator,thecarwillreturntotheprogrammed
speed.TemporarydisengagementPress0todisengagethecruisecontrol
temporarily.CRUISEwillbeshownonthe
combinedinstrumentpanel.Thespeedset
earlierisstoredinthememory.
Thecruisecontrolisalsotemporarilydisen-
gagedwhen:

depressed
speedfallsbelow30km/hwhen
travellinguphill
