This indicator comes on when the
transmission is in neutral.

This indicator flashes when the turn
switch is moved to the left or right.

High beam indicator light “ ”
This indicator comes on when the
headlight high beam is used.

SpeedometerThe speedometer shows riding speed.
This speedometer is equipped with an
odometer and tripmeter. The tripmeter
can be reset to “0” with the reset knob.
Use the tripmeter to estimate how far
you can ride on a tank of fuel. This in-
formation will enable you to plan fuel
stops in the future.

Turning the light switch to “ ”,
turns on the auxiliary light, meter lights
and taillight. Turning the light switch to
“ ” turns the headlight on also.

The annual checks must be performed every year, except if a kilometer-based maintenance is performed instead.

From 30,000 km, repeat the maintenance intervals starting from 6,000 km.

*Wheels• Check runout, spoke tightness and for damage.

The air filter needs more frequent service if you are riding in unusually wet or dusty areas.

Hydraulic brake service
• Regularly check and, if necessary, correct the brake fluid level.
• Every two years replace the internal components of the brake master cylinder and caliper, and change the brake fluid.
• Replace the brake hoses every four years and if cracked or damaged.
