Instrument Panel
Driver Information Interface
The driver information interface shows the odometer, trip meter, outside
temperature indicator, and other gauges. It also displays important messages such
as warnings and other helpful information.
Roll the right selector wheel to change the display.

Controls
When the power mode is set to any mode
other than OFF and you remove the keyless
access remote from the vehicle and shut the
door, an alarm will sound. If the alarm
continues to sound, place the keyless access
remote in another location. ■ When the power mode is in
ACCESSORY
The alarm will sound from outside the vehicle. ■ When the power mode is in ON
An alarm will sound both inside and outside the vehicle. In additi on, a warning indicator
will appear on the instrument panel.
■Keyless Access Remote Reminder1Keyless Access Remote Reminder
When the keyless access remote is within the
system’s operational range, and both doors are
closed, the warni ng function cancels.
If the keyless access remote is taken out of the vehicle
after the power system has been turned on, you can
no longer change the ENGINE START/STOP button
mode or restart the power system. Always make sure
if the remote is in your vehicle when you operate the
ENGINE START/STOP button.
Removing the keyless access remote from the vehicle through a window does not activate the warning
buzzer.
Do not put the keyless access remote on the
dashboard or in the glove box. It may cause the
warning buzzer to go of f. Under some other
conditions that can prevent the vehicle from locating
the remote, the warning buzzer may also go off even
if the remote is within the system’s operational range.

Light SwitchesRotating the light switch turns the lights on
and off, regardless of the power mode setting. ■High beams
Push the lever forward until you hear a click.■ Low beams
When in high beams, pull the lever back to
return to low beams. ■ Flashing the high beams
Pull the lever back, and release it.■ Lights off
Turn the lever to OFF either when:
• The transmission is in

• The parking brake is applied.
To turn the light s on again, turn the lever to
OFF to cancel the lights off mode. Even if you
do not cancel the lights off mode, the lights
come on automatically when:• The gear position is changed out of

• The parking brake is released.
• The vehicle starts to move.

If you leave the power mode in VEHICLE OFF while
the lights are on, a chime sounds when the driver’s door is opened.
When the lights are on, the lights on indicator in the
instrument pane l will be on.

If you sense that the le vel of the headlights is
abnormal, have your vehicle inspected by an
authorized Acura NSX dealer.
Do not leave the lights on when the power system is
off because it will caus e the 12-volt battery to
discharge.

The headlights automatically come on when the wipers are used several times within
a certain interval with the headlight switch in AUTO.
The headlights automatically go off a few mi nutes later if the wipers are stopped.
The headlights, all other exterior lights, and the instrument panel lights turn off 15
seconds after you set the power mode to VEHICLE OFF, take the remote with you,
and close the driver’s door.
If you set the power mode to VEHICLE OFF with the headlight switch on, but do not
open the door, the lights turn off after 10 minu tes (3 minutes, if the switch is in the
AUTO position).
The lights turn on again when you unlock or open the driver’s door. If you unlock
the door, but do not open it within 15 seconds, the lights go off. If you open the
driver’s door, you will hear a lights on reminder chime.

This feature activates when the headlights are off in AUTO .
The instrument panel br ightness does not change
when the headlights come on.
At dark ambient light leve ls, the automatic lighting
control feature turns on the headlights, regardless of
the number of wiper sweeps.
You can turn the headlight integration with wipers
function on and off.

Wipers and WashersThe windshield wipers and washers can be
used when the power mode is in ON. ■MIST
The wipers run at high speed until you release
the lever. ■ Wiper switch (OFF, INT, LO, HI)
Change the wiper switch setting according to the amount of rain. ■ Adjusting wiper operation
Turn the adjustment ring to adjust wiper
operation. ■ Washer
Sprays while you pull the lever toward you. When you release the le ver for more than one
second, the spray stops, the wipers sweep two
or three more times to clear the windshield,
then stop.

NOTICE
Do not use the wipers when the windshield is dry.
The windshield will get sc ratched, or the rubber
blades will get damaged.
NOTICE
In cold weather, the blades may freeze to the windshield.
Operating the wipers in th is condition may damage
wipers. Use the de froster to warm the windshield,
then turn the wipers on.
If the vehicle speeds up while the wipers are
operating intermittently, the length of the wipe
interval shortens.
When the vehicle speeds up, the wiper operation’s
shortest delay setting ( ) and the LO setting become
the same.
Turn the washers off if no washer fluid comes out.
The pump may get damaged.
The wiper motor may stop motor operation
temporarily to prevent an overload. Wiper operation
will return to normal within a few minutes, once the
circuit has returned to normal.
If the wipers stop operating due to any obstacle such
as the build-up of snow, pa rk the vehicle in a safe
place.
Rotate the wiper switch to OFF, and set the power
mode to ACCESSORY or VEHICLE OFF, then remove
the obstacle.

Brightness ControlWhen the power mode is in ON, you can use the
(+ or (- button to adjust instrument
panel brightness.
To brighten: Press the
(+ button.
To dim: Press the
(- button.
You will hear a beep when the brightness
reaches minimum or maximum. Several
seconds after you have adjusted the
brightness, you will be returned to the
previous screen. ■ Brightness level indicator
The brightness level is shown on the driver
information interface wh ile you are adjusting
it.

The brightness of the in strument panel will be
reduced when the following conditions: • The power mode is in ON.
• The light switch is in any position other than off and it is da rk outside.
When it is bright out side and the headlight
integration with the wiper is activated, the
instrument panel bri ghtness does not change.
The brightness can be set differently for when the
exterior lights are on, and when they are off.(+ Button

■To Change the Tune Mode1Playing SiriusXM® Radio *
In the channel mode, all available channels are
selectable. In the categor y mode, you can select a
channel within a ca tegory (Jazz, Rock, Classical, etc.).
There may be instances when SiriusXM ® Radio does
not broadcast all the data fi elds (artist name, title).
This does not indicate a problem with your audio
system.
SiriusXM ® Radio stations load in ascending order,
which can take about a minute. Once they have
loaded you will be able to scroll up or down to make
your selections.
Switching the Audio Mode
Press the SOURCE button on the steering wheel or
select SOURCE on the screen.

Tune Start:
When you change to a preset channel, a song being
played on that channel restarts from the beginning
with this function. This can be turned on or off from
the Audio settings screen.
