  the   vehicle's   engine   to   increase   the   battery  
charge.

For safety reasons, the driver must only carry out operations  which   require   prolonged   attention   while   the  
vehicle

  is   stationary.

  the   engine   is   switched   off   and   to   prevent  
discharging
