Your vehicle has a loor mat which
covers the entire space in front
of the driver and front passenger
seats.
Note :
this loor mat also covers
the lap that gives access to the
battery on the right hand side (see
“Battery”).
The loor mat is held in position on
each side by a ixing, in the middle
by the centre console pillar. F L O O R M A T
Floor mats that are not recommended by CITROËN run the ri sk
of sliding underneath the accelerator pedal, thus preven ting you
from using the full pedal travel (see “Speed limiter”).
It will then be impossible to exit from your programmed speed
without recourse to the switch module under the steering w heel.
Removing
- Slide the front seats as far as possible rearwards.
- Detach the ixings one by one, pulling on the corresponding
corner of the
loor mat.
- Remove the loor mat.
Reitting
- Position the loor mat correctly.
- Press the ixings back in place one by one.
- Check that the loor mat is properly secured.
Note : loor mats for the rear of the vehicle are available as accessories.
To obtain them, contact a CITROËN dealer.

Electric sun roofs
There are three sun roofs, each with its own independent con
trol.
However, the two rear sun roofs can also be controlled from the front seat
positions.
• To tilt open: keep part A of the switch pressed down.
• To slide open: press briely on part A of the switch.
• To close: press briely on part B of the switch to engage the slide mode,
then press again and keep pressed to close the sun roof fully.
Deactivation of the controls for rows 2 and 3: See “Electric windows”.
Interior blinds
The rear blind can be positioned manually. Carefully lift the blind and then
pull.
Note: It is recommended not to open the sun roof immediately after rain or
having washed the vehicle. Anti-pinch
If the roof encounters an obstacle
while it is sliding to close, it stops
its movement and partially opens
again.
In the event of a malfunction or
if there is random opening of the
roof when you are trying to close
it (for example if there is ice) and
the roof refuses to close, press
button
A on the remote control un -
til the roof is fully open.
Then press immediately on but -
ton B on the remote control to clo-
se the roof.
If the roof does not close, release
the button and then press several
times until the roof is fully closed.
Release the button again then
press again on B, keeping it
pressed for more than ive se -
conds after closing.
Warning: during these actions the
anti-pinch function does not ope -
rate.
IMPORTANT
Fitting an “Accessory” sunroof is prohibited.
Your vehicle is equipped with lateral airbags (the Manufa cturer
reserves the right to modify the safety features on vehicles ).
- Take care that children are not in danger when moving the su
n roof.
- If the driver is actioning the sun roof control, he should ma ke certain
that the passengers are not obstructing the sun roof from closing
properly.
- The driver should make sure that the passenger uses the sun roof control correctly.
- Should there be any risk of a person becoming trapped during t he
movement of the sun roof, you should immediately reverse the roof
movement. To do this, reverse the position of the control conce rned.
- Always remove the ignition key when leaving the vehicle, even for

Bonnet
This should only be operated
when the vehicle is stationary.
Lift the cover located under the
dashboard close to the door pillar
and pull the lever upwards.
Bonnet open alert
This function is available in
conjunction with the alarm option.
When the engine is running or the
vehicle is moving, if the bonnet is
incorrectly closed, you are alerted
by a symbol on the multifunction
screen accompanied by an audible
signal. Lift latch
A, located under the
centre forward edge of the bonnet
and pull the bonnet up. Position the bonnet stay as shown
in the illustration.
Ensure that it is securely in place.
Closing
Reposition the bonnet stay in its
clip and press irmly in place.
Lower the bonnet and then allow it
to drop shut.
Make sure that the bonnet is securely locked

Follow the recommendations
in the Maintenance Guide.
When working under the bonnet, the cooling fan could
operate if the power unit is hot (even when switched off).
The engine oil level should be checked frequently
between services (as recommended by the manufacturer), as well as before long journeys.
Engine coolant
The coolant level should
be between the
MAX and
MIN marks on the header
tank.
If the engine is hot, wait
15 minutes.
Quality: Consult the Maintenance
Guide.
Never work on the cooling
system if the engine is hot. (See
“Levels”). Engine oil
Check the oil level with the
vehicle parked on horizon-
tal ground, the engine ha-
ving been switched off for at least
15 minutes.

A - Windscreen and rear

When looking under the bonnet, with the engine hot,
even if stopped and the ignition switched off, the cooling fan may operate at any time.
B - Radiator - coolant
Checking the level and topping up must always be done
with the engine cold.
Engine hot:
Remove the protection cover. Wait ifteen minutes or
until the temperature is well below 100° C, then carefull
y
unscrew the cap to allow the pressure to drop, protecting
yourself with a cloth, for example.
Topping up the cooling system
The coolant level should be between the MIN and MAX marks on t he
header tank.
Top up the level. If you have to add more than 1 litre, h ave the cooling
system checked by a CITROËN dealer.
Fully secure the cap.
Note: The need to top up the coolant frequently is an indicat ion of a
malfunction, which you should have checked at the earliest op portunity.
Note: the cooling fan may operate for some ten minutes after the e ngine
has stopped.
C - Power steering oil
For topping up, it is necessary to go to a CITROËN dealer. L E V E L S

Adding engine oil
Remove the dipstick before top-
ping up.
Check the level after illing.
It should never exceed the maxi-
mum mark.
Screw on the cap before closing
the bonnet.

Brake luid
The synthetic luid not only gives protection against corrosion bu t also
ensures correct functioning of the braking system in all environment al
conditions, therefore you should only use the synthetic product
recommended by the CITROËN network. (this luid must be replaced
every two years).
These important requirements are detailed in your vehicle’s Maint enance
Guide.
Quality: Consult the Maintenance Guide.
Brake luid reservoir
Check and top up at regular
intervals.
The luid level must be situated
within the MAX and MIN marks
visible on the reservoir.

Draining water from the fuel ilter
To be bled on a regular basis (at every oil change).
To evacuate the water, slacken the bleed screw or the water i
n diesel fuel
sensor, which is located at the base of the ilter, until w ater ceases to low
out.
Then retighten the bleed screw or the water in diesel fuel sensor.
