15. Remove front body side welt (LH and RH) and rear body side welt (LH and RH). Refer to INT-20, "

16. Remove center pillar upper garnish (LH and RH). Refer to INT-22, "
CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISH :
Removal and Installation".
17. Remove rear pillar finisher (LH and RH). Refer to INT-37, "
REAR PILLAR FINISHER : Removal and
Installation".
18. Remove back pillar garnish (LH and RH). Refer to INT-37, "
BACK PILLAR GARNISH : Removal and
Installation".
19. Remove luggage side upper finisher (LH and RH). Refer to INT-38, "
LUGGAGE SIDE UPPER FINISHER
: Removal and Installation".
20. Insert a remover tool between map lamp assembly (1) and headlining assembly to disengage the fixing metal clips, and
then remove map lamp assembly.
21. Peel off dual lock fastener between headlining assembly and roof panel.
22. Remove headlining clips located at the rear side
23. Remove headlining assembly (1) through the back door.
CAUTION:
When removing, 2 workers are required.
Never bend headlini ng when removing.
Be careful not to scratch or damage any part of the body while taking out the headlining.
24. Remove the following parts after removing headlining assembly.

Visually check the clips and pawls for deformation and damage during installation. Replace with new
ones if necessary.
When installing luggage side lo wer finisher, check that clips and pawls are securely fitted in body
panel holes, and press them in.
REAR PILLAR FINISHER
REAR PILLAR FINISHER : Removal and InstallationINFOID:0000000006220262
REMOVAL
1. Remove luggage side lower finisher. INT-36, "LUGGAGE SIDE LOWER FINISHER : Removal and Instal-
lation".
2. Disengage lower side of rear pillar finisher fixing clip.
3. Pull rear pillar upper garnish (1) from inside passenger room, disengage rear pillar upper garnish upper side fixing pawl as shown in the following figure, and then remove rear pillar upper garnish from body
panel (2).
CAUTION:
Be careful not to apply excessive force when removing rear pillar finisher. Otherwise, pawl may be
damaged and fragments may drop in body panel holes on body.
INSTALLATION
Note the following items, and install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
Replace rear pillar finisher wi th a new part after removal. Never reuse rear pillar finisher.
Visually check the clip and pawl for deformation an d damage during installation. Replace with new
ones if necessary.
When installing rear pillar finisher, check that cl ip and pawl are securely fitted in body panel holes,
and press them in.

REMOVAL
1. Remove luggage side lower finisher. INT-36, "LUGGAGE SIDE LOWER FINISHER : Removal and Instal-

2. Remove cap of back door finisher side (LH), and then remove stud ball. Refer to DLK-247, "
BACK DOOR
SUPPORT ROD : Removal and Installation" (LH side only).
3. Disengage back pillar garnish (1) fixing clips and pawl using a remover tool (A), and then remove back pillar garnish.

2. Disengage pull handle finisher (1) fixing pawls using a removertool (A), and then remove pull handle finisher.
3. Disengage auto back door switch finisher (1) fixing pawls using a remover tool (A), and then disconnect auto back door switch
harness connector.
4. Remove back door finisher inner lower (1) fixing clips (A).
5. Remove the back door finisher inner lower. 1. Disengage back door finisher inner lower (1) fixing clips and pawls using a remover tool (A).
NOTE:
Start disengaging from the position where pa wls are located as shown in the figure.

2. Remove back door finisher inner lower.
6. Disengage back door finisher side (1) fixing metal clips using a remover tool (A), and then remove back door finisher side.
7. Disengage back door finisher upper (1) fixing metal clips using a remover tool (A), and then remove back door finisher upper.
INSTALLATION
Note the following items, and install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
Visually check the clips, pawls and metal clips for deformation and damage during installation.
Replace with new ones if necessary.
When installing back door trims, check that clips, pawls, and metal clips are securely fitted in body
panel holes, and press them in.

INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY
38. Pull back instrument panel assembly, and then remove front squawker LH harness (1) fixing clip (A) fromfront ventilator duct (2).
39. Remove instrument panel from passenger door opening portion. CAUTION:
Cover tool with a shop cloth to pr event windshield glass from being damaged.
When removing instrument panel assembly, 2 worker s are required so as to prevent it from drop-
ping.
40. Remove the following parts after removing instrument panel assembly. Front passenger air bag module. Refer to SR-17, "
Removal and Installation".
Side ventilator grille LH/RH. Refer to VTL-10, "
SIDE VENTILATOR GRILLE : Removal and Installation".
Side ventilator duct: Refer to VTL-10, "
SIDE VENTILATOR DUCT : Removal and Installation".
Upper ventilator duct: Refer to VTL-10, "
UPPER VENTILATOR DUCT : Removal and Installation".
Front defroster nozzle: Refer to VTL-11, "
FRONT DEFROSTER NOZZLE : Removal and Installation".
