Camber
This is the wheel’s camber with respect to a plane perpendicular to the ground (
Fig.1). The camber may be positive
(the vehicle’s wheels are “open” toward the top) or negative (the wheels appear open toward the bottom). The
camber affects roadholding and driving comfort. The adjustment values were designed to obtain the best compromise between roadholding and comfort. Strut caster
This is the angle that forms the steering axis of the wheel projected on the longitudinal vertical plane with respect to
the transversal vertical plane passing through the wheel axle ( Fig.2). When this angle is positive the steering axis
meets the ground in front of the vertical axis; momentum is therefore created that tends to realign the wheels.
Toe-in
This is the angle formed between the equatorial planes of the wheels of an axle and the vertical-longitudinal plane
passing through the middle of the vehicle ( Fig.3). The angle is positive when the directions of the two wheels
converge at a point in front of the vehicle. It is negative when the point of convergence is behind the vehicle. In order
to improve vehicle stability, the toe-in of the wheels is kept positive.

3UHOLPLQDU\RSHUDWLRQV • Raise the vehicle on the car lift (000000).
• Remove the rear wheel (060103).
• Disassemble the rear wheel arch (082103).
Disassembling the D[OHVKDIW
1. Release the brake calliper ( A-Fig.1) from the hub housing by loosening the two corresponding screws ( B-Fig.1)
without disconnecting it from the hydraulic system.
2. Release the parking brake calliper ( C-Fig.2) from the hub housing by loosening the two corresponding screws
( D-Fig.2 ) without disconnecting it from the hydraulic system.

1. Position the rear axle shaft ( A-Fig.1) on the hub housing by tightening the corresponding nut ( B-Fig.1).

2. Using a pillar jack, position the rear suspension assembly, hub housing and rear axle shaft ( C-Fig.1), by placing
it into its housing in the chassis.
 $VVHPEOHWKHUHDUVXVSHQVLRQDVVHPEO\KXEKRXVLQJDQGUHDUD[OHVKDIWZLWKWKHKHOSRIDVHFRQG operator.
3. Tighten the six screws ( D-Fig.2) securing the rear suspension upper arm to the chassis.

4. Tighten the eight screws ( E-Fig.3) securing the rear suspension lower arm.
