32.INSTALL FRONT FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR NO. 1
Install the heat insulator No. 1 with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)

The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1.REMOVE FRONT WHEELS
2.SEPARATE SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
a. Disconnect the connector.

3.REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSY LH
a. Remove the 2 bolts and brake cylinder from the steering knuckle.
b. Support the brake caliper securely.

4.REMOVE FRONT DISC
5.REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSY LH
a. Remove the 4 bolts and axle hub sub-ass
y LH.

6.REMOVE SKID CONTROL SENSOR FRONT (See step 6 on REPLACEMENT
)

7.INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSOR FRONT (See step 7 on REPLACEMENT
)
SST 09214-76011
8.INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSY LH
a. Install the axle hub sub-assy LH with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 69 N.m (700 kgf.cm, 51 ft.lbf)

9.INSPECT AXLE HUB BEARING LOOSENESS (See ON

11.INSTALL FRONT DISC (See step 15 on OVERHAUL

12.INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSY LH
a. Install the disc brake caliper with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 78 N.m (800 kgf.cm, 58 ft.lbf)

13.INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
a. Connect the connector.
14.INSTALL FRONT WHEELS
Torque: 103 N.m (1,050 kgf.cm, 76 ft.lbf)
15.INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT (See ADJUSTMENT
)
16.CHECK ABS SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL (See TEST MODE PROCEDURE
)

4.SEPARATE SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
a. Remove the bolt and separate the speed sensor from the steering knuckle.
b. Disconnect the connector.

5.REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSY LH (See REPLACEMENT
)
6.REMOVE STEERING KNUCKLE LH
a. Remove the upper side of the clip and nut.
b. Using SST, remove the steering knuckle LH from the upper suspension arm.

c. Remove the 2 bolts and steering knuckle from the lower ball joint.

7.INSTALL STEERING KNUCKLE LH
a. Install the steering knuckle LH to the lower ball joint with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 113 N.m (1,150 kgf.cm, 83 ft.lbf)
b. Install the steering knuckle LH to the upper suspension arm with a nut and clip.
Torque: 87 N.m (887 kgf.cm, 64 ft.lbf)
