matically after 20 minutes.
NOTICE

Keep the vanity mirror closed.

Clock
■The clock is displayed when
The clock is displayed when the “ENGINE START STOP” switch is in ACCES-
SORY or IGNITION ON mode.
■When the battery is disconnected
The time display will automatically be set to 1:00.
The clock can be adjusted by pressing the buttons.

Outside temperature display
■If the temperature does not appear
The system may be malfunctioning. Take your vehicle to your Lexus dealer or
repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional.
■Display
In the following situations, the correct outside temperature may not be displayed, or
the display may take longer than normal to change:
●When the vehicle is stopped, or moving at low speeds (less than 25 km/h [16
mph])
●When the outside temperature has changed suddenly (at the entrance/exit of a
garage, tunnel, etc.)
The temperature display shows temperatures within the range of -40°C
(-40°F) and 50°C (122°F).
Without a navigation system
With a navigation system

Multi-display light control∗
■Instrument panel linked brightness control
When the headlight switch is turned on, the brightness of the multi-display will be
reduced in accordance with the brightness of the instrument panel. (→P. 1 9 7 )

NOTICE
■To avoid damaging the power outlets
Close the power outlet lid when the power outlet is not in use.
Foreign objects or liquids that enter the power outlet may cause a short circuit.
■To prevent the fuse from being blown
Do not use an accessory that uses more than 12 V 10 A.
■To prevent battery discharge
Do not use the power outlets longer than necessary when the engine is off.

Heated steering wheel∗
■The heated steering wheel can be used when
The “ENGINE START STOP” switch is in IGNITION ON mode.
■To prevent battery discharge
The heated steering wheel will automatically turn off after about 30 minutes.
■If the indicator light does not come on
If the indicator light does not come on when the switch is pressed, a malfunction
may have occurred in the system. Have the vehicle inspected by any authorized
Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional.
∗: If equipped
The heated steering wheel heats the leather portions on the left and right
of the steering wheel.

in contact with the steering wheel when the heated steering wheel is on:
●Babies, small children, the elderly, the sick and the physically challenged
●Persons with sensitive skin

●Persons who have taken alcohol or drugs that induce sleep (sleeping drugs, cold
remedies, etc.)

Seat heaters and ventilators∗
■Operating condition
The “ENGINE START STOP” switch is in IGNITION ON mode.
■When not in use
Set the knob at “0”. The indicator light turns off.
The seat heaters and ventilators heat the seats and maintain good airflow
by blowing air from the seats.
■Seat heaters
Turns the seat heater on
The indicator light comes on.
The higher the number is, the
warmer the seat becomes.

CAUTION
■Burns
●Use caution when seating the following persons in a seat with the seat heater on
to avoid the possibility of burns:
• Babies, small children, the elderly, the sick and the physically challenged
• Persons with sensitive skin
• Persons who are fatigued
• Persons who have taken alcohol or drugs that induce sleep (sleeping drugs,
cold remedies, etc.)
●Do not cover the seat with anything when using the seat heater.
Using the seat heater with a blanket or cushion increases the temperature of the
seat and may lead to overheating.
NOTICE
■To prevent damage to the seat heaters/ventilators
Do not put heavy objects that have an uneven surface on the seat and do not stick
sharp objects (needles, nails, etc.) into the seat.
■To prevent the battery discharged
Do not leave the system on longer than necessary when the engine is off.
