the switch neednotbeheld. Thewindow will
automatically openorclose allthe way.To stop
the window ,just push orlift the switch inthe
opposite direction.
A light push orpull onthe switch willcause the
window toopen orclose untiltheswitch is
released.
Auto-reverse function

immediately lowered.
The auto reverse function canbeactivated when
the window isclosed byautomatic operation
when theignition switchisin the ON position or
for 45 seconds aftertheignition switchisplaced
in the OFF position.
Depending onthe environment ordriving
conditions, theauto reverse function may
be activated ifan impact orload similar to
something beingcaught inthe window
occurs.

If the windows donot close automatically

If the power window automatic function(closing
only) does notoperate properly,perform the
following procedure toinitialize thepower
window system.
1. Place theignition switchinthe ON position.
2. Close thedoor.
3. Open thewindow completely byoperating
the power window switch.
4. Pull thepower window switchandhold itto
close thewindow ,and then holdtheswitch
more than3seconds afterthewindow is
closed completely .
5. Release thepower window switch.Operate
the window bythe automatic functionto
confirm theinitialization iscomplete.
If the power window automatic functiondoes
not operate properly afterperforming thepro-
cedure above,haveyourvehicle checked bya
NISSAN dealer.

The moonroof isoperational forabout 45
seconds, evenifthe ignition switchispushed
to the OFF position. Ifthe driver's doororthe passenger's

about 45seconds, powertothe moonroof is
canceled.
Sunshade

Y our vehicle canonly bedriven withthe
Intelligent Keys which areregistered toyour
vehicle's Intelligent Key system components and
NISSAN Vehicle Immobilizer Systemcompo-
nents. Asmany as4Intelligent Keys can be
registered andused withonevehicle. Thenew
keys must beregistered byaNISSAN dealer
prior touse with theIntelligent Key system and
NISSAN Vehicle Immobilizer Systemofyour
vehicle. Sincetheregistration processrequires
erasing allmemory inthe Intelligent Key compo- nents
whenregistering newkeys, besure totake
all Intelligent Keys that youhave tothe NISSAN
dealer.
CAUTION
. Be sure tocarry theIntelligent Key
with youwhen driving. TheIntelli-
gent Keyisaprecision devicewitha
built-in transmitter. To avoid dama-
ging it,please notethefollowing.
Ð The Intelligent Keyiswater
resistant ;however, wettingmay
damage theIntelligent Key.If
the Intelligent Keygets wet,
immediately wipeuntilitis com-
pletely dry.
Ð Do not bend, droporstrike it
against another object.
Ð If the outside temperature is
below 148F(-108C) degrees, the
battery ofthe intelligent key
may notfunction properly.
Ð Do not place theIntelligent Key
for anextended periodina
place where temperatures ex-
ceed 1408F (608C).
