REMOVAL
1. Remove rear end screw of fender protector (rear).
2. Remove rear end clip of fender protector (rear).
3. Remove plastic clamp from wheelhouse arches, and then remove fender protector (rear) from wheel-
house.
4. Remove front end screw of fender protector (front).
5. Remove front end clip of fender protector (front).
6. Remove fender protector (front) from wheelhouse.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

REMOVAL
1. Remove screws of mudguard front/rear side.
2. Remove bolts of mudguad lower side.
3. Fully open front door and rear door.
4. Remove clips from back of mudguard using clip clamp remover.
5. Remove center mudguard from body side.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
When installing center mudguard, make sure that clips are securely fitted in panel holes on body, and
then press them in.

REMOVAL
1. Disengage clips while pinching molding from roof rear end to
front end.
2. Pull out molding toward rear of vehicle along windshield inclina-
tion angle when disengaging windshield clips.
3. Heat adhesive tape interface using a dryer, and then peel body side clips using long-nose pliers.
INSTALLATION
NOTE:
Start from the following step 6 if molding is reused.
1. Clean tape removed surface with a shop cloth soaked in white gasoline or IPA.
2. Use two-part epoxy adhesive (3M-weld DP-105 or equivalent).
3. Apply adhesive [thickness: approximately 0.5 mm (0.020 in)] evenly to clip tape surface.

4. Position applied parts to the proper location, and then sufficiently press-fit until the adhesive protrudes to
tape side.
[Press-fit limit:19.6 N (2 kg, 4.4 lb) × 2 seconds)]
5. Tape clips after press fit, and temporarily hold it for specified time based on the following.
5 to 10 °C (41 to 50 °F) ---1 hour or more
11 to 23 °C (52 to 73 °F) ---30 minutes or more
24 °C or more (75 °F or more) ---15 minutes or more
6. Install from roof side molding rear end to front end in this order after temporarily holding.
CAUTION:
Use double-faced adhesive tape after hardening for clips.
Securely insert molding rear end cap onto roof rear end cutout (installation standard).
Press in after making sure that body side fastener molding is securely inserted when installing
windshield clips.
Do not wash the vehicle within 24 hours so as to keep adhesive.

REMOVAL
1. Fully open front door and rear door.
2. Remove molding clips from front edge to rear edge in this order
using a clip clamp remover.
3. Remove clips so as not to damage clip pawls and drop into outer
panel.
4. Remove drip molding assembly.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
After removal, visually inspect drip molding, and if it is deformed, replace it with new molding.

FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE MOLDING
Removal
1. Fully open door window.
2. Remove door trim. Refer to EI-35, "
DOOR FINISHER" .
3. Remove door corner cover (inner). Refer to GW-74, "
DOOR MIRROR" .
4. Disconnect harness connector for tweeter (only for models with tweeter). Refer to AV- 1 7 , "
Removal and
Installation of Tweeter" .
5. Remove door mirror. Refer to GW-74, "
DOOR MIRROR" .
6. Disengage pawls by inserting a screwdriver to front and rear of
pawl intergrated with cap.
7. Remove door outside molding while pulling up molding using plastic spatula after disengaging.

CAUTION:
Be careful not to apply excessive force when removing because it is easy to deform parts.
After removal, visually inspect molding, and if it is deformed, replace it with new molding.
REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOLDING
Removal
1. Fully open door window.
2. Remove door trim. Refer to EI-35, "
DOOR FINISHER" .
3. Remove door corner cover inner and outer. Refer to GW-50, "
REAR DOOR GLASS AND REGULATOR" .
4. Disengage pawls by inserting a screwdriver to front and rear of pawl integrated with cap.
5. Remove door outside molding while pulling up molding using plastic spatula after disengaging.
CAUTION:
Be careful not to apply excessive force when removing because it is easy to deform parts.
After removal, visually inspect molding, and if it is deformed, replace it with new molding.
Installation
Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
Molding rear end is flush with door sash rear end when installing.

FRONT AND REAR DOOR OUTSIDE LOWER MOLDING
Removal
1. Half-open front door and rear door.
2. Remove nuts from back of door panel.
3. Disengage mounting clips from molding rear end to front end using a clip clamp remover.
4. Remove door outside lower molding from body side after disengaging.
5. Slide molding toward rear of vehicle, and then remove front end clip.
CAUTION:
After removal, visually inspect molding, and if it is deformed, replace it with new molding.
Installation
Install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
When installing, confirm clips are accurately aligned with the holes on body side panel, then press in.
