1.CHECK FUNCTION
With CONSULT-III
Check door switches “DOOR SW-RR” in “Data Monitor” mode with CONSULT-III.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Door switch is OK.
NO >> Refer to DLK-302, "

1.CHECK DOOR SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Check signal between BCM connector and ground with oscillo-
scope.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 4.
NO >> GO TO 2.
2.CHECK DOOR SWITCH CIRCUIT
1. Disconnect BCM connector.

and rear door switch RH connector (B) B53 terminal 1.
3. Check continuity between BCM connector (A) M19 terminal 60
and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 3.
NO >> Repair or replace harness between BCM and rear door switch RH.
3.CHECK DOOR SWITCH
Check door switch.
Refer to DLK-303, "
REAR RH : Component Inspection".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 4.
NO >> Replace rear door switch RH. Refer to XX-XX, "*****"

YES >> GO TO 3.
NO >> Repair or replace harness between BCM and back door lock assembly.
3.CHECK BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between back door lock assembly connector and
ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 4.
NO >> Repair or replace back door lock assembly ground circuit.
4.CHECK BCM OUTPUT SIGNAL

YES >> Key switch is OK.

1.CHECK KEY SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect Intelligent Key unit connector.
3. Check voltage between Intelligent Key unit harness connector
and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 5.
NO >> GO TO 2.
2.CHECK KEY SWITCH POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
1. Remove mechanical key from key cylinder.
2. Disconnect key switch and ignition knob switch connector.
Monitor item Condition

1. Check continuity between Intelligent Key unit harness connector
(A) M52 terminal 7 and key switch and ignition knob switch con-
nector (B) M32 terminal 1.
2. Check continuity between Intelligent Key unit harness connector (A) M52 terminal 7 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 4.
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
4.CHECK KEY SWITCH
Check key switch function.
Refer to DLK-310, "
Component Inspection".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 5.
NO >> Replace key switch and ignition knob switch.
