CONSULT-II Setting Procedure
1. Turn ignition switch “OFF”.
2. Connect CONSULT-II to data link connector which is located in
left or right side lower dash panel.
3. Turn ignition switch “ON”.
4. Touch “START”.
5. Touch “A/T”.

6. Touch “DTC WORK SUPPORT”.
7. Touch select item menu (1ST, 2ND, etc.).

CEDURE” in “TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS FOR DTC”.

lWhen testing conditions are satisfied, CONSULT-II screen
changes from “OUT OF CONDITION” to “TESTING”.
10. Stop vehicle. If “NG” appears on the screen, malfunction may
exist. Go to “DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE”.
11. Perform test drive to check gear shift feeling in accordance with
instructions displayed.
12. Touch “YES” or “NO”.

TCM SELF-DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE (NO TOOLS)
1.CHECK O/D OFF INDICATOR LAMP
1. Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
2. Turn ignition switch to “OFF” position.
Wait 5 seconds.
3. Turn ignition switch to “ACC” position.
4. Set overdrive control switch to “ON” position.
5. Move selector lever to “P” position.
6. Turn ignition switch to “ON” position. (Do not start engine.)
7. Does O/D OFF indicator lamp come on for about 2 seconds?

All circuits that can be confirmed by self-diagnosis are OK.1st judgement flicker is longer than others.
Revolution sensor circuit is short-circuited or disconnected.
