FITTING ROOF BARS
(SALOON)

Maximum authorised weight on the
roof rack, for a loading height not ex-
ceeding 40 cm (with the exception of
bicycle carriers): 65 kg.
If the height exceeds 40 cm, adapt
the speed of the vehicle to the pro-
i l e o f t h e r o a d t o a v o i d d a m a g i n g t h e
r o o f b a r s a n d t h e i x i n g s o n t h e r o o f .
Be sure to refer to national legis-
lation in order to comply with the
regulations for transporting objects
which are longer than the vehicle.
FITTING ROOF BARS (SW)
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer for the in-
stallation of longitudinal roof bars.
W h e n i t t i n g t r a n s v e r s e r o o f b a r s , e n -
sure that they are positioned correctly
as shown by marks on the longitudinal
roof bars.
Use accessories recommended by
PEUGEOT and follow the accessory
m a n u f a c t u r e r ' s i t t i n g i n s t r u c t i o n s .
In order to place a load on the roof, your
v e h i c l e m u s t b e i t t e d w i t h l o n g i t u d i n a l
r o o f b a r s w i t h t r a n s v e r s e r o o f b a r s i t t e d
on top of these.
The longitudinal roof bars cannot be re-
moved.
Maximum authorised weight on the roof
bars, for a loading height not exceeding
40 cm (except bicycle carriers): 75 kg.
If the height exceeds 40 cm, adapt
the speed of the vehicle to the con-
dition of the road, to avoid damag-
i n g t h e r o o f b a r s a n d t h e i x i n g s o n
the roof.
Please refer to national legislation
to comply with the regulations re-
garding the transportation of objects
which are longer than the vehicle.
Lashing the straps through the ends
of the longitudinal roof bars is pro-
hibited.
