Map The 'Map' context menu offers various possibilities for
following the route defined by the navigation: - centring the vehicle,- travel mode,- zoom,- selecting,- navigation / guidance,- map configuration,- stopping / resuming guidance. The guidance function offers two journey modes: - manual mode (see 'Travel mode')
- automatic mode (see 'Centre vehicle'). Centre vehicleThis function permits activation of the automatic map
movement mode. The map moves over the screen, follo-wing the direction of the vehicle. Depending on the pro-gramming, the top of the screen represents either theNorth or the direction followed by the vehicle. The vehicle is shown as a symbol in the centre of the screen.
Travel mode Press the dial so that the map moves in the direction
shown by the pointer. The pointer is in the centre of thescreen and the map slides underneath it.
Rotating the dial lets you select one of 16 different directions (North, N/NE, NE, E/NE, East, E/SE, SE, S/SE,South etc.). When moving, it is possible to change the direction selected. Zoom mode This function allows the scale of the map displayed to be enlarged or reduced. Select mode This function opens the screen which allows selection of the destination on the map. It enables guidance towards this destination to be activa- ted. Navigation / guidance This function allows you to return to the
'Navigation/
Guidance' application off the map.

Map configuration
This function offers various possibilities to optimise and enhance the display of the route: - map orientation,- type of services displayed,- selection of scale. Map orientation This function allows orientation of the map to be selected: North or according to the direction of the vehicle. Note: the "vehicle orientation" option is only active if the
display scale is less than or equal to 1km.
Types of services displayed This function allows the required service to be displayed.From the list presented, select the service(s) required (for insertion), the service(s) not required (for deletion), orchoose 'Any'(parking, hotel, restaurant, service station,
cinema...). Changing the routeThis function allows you, for example, to avoid a tail-back on the route which has been worked out. Using the 'Navigation/Guidance' context menu, or by
holding down the last voice message recall control, you can introduce a change to the route that had been workedout, at any time during guidance. This change occurs on the stretch between your present position and a point located at a distance which has to beinput, using the initial route. Enter a distance between 1 and 10 km, using the alphanumeric keypad, then confirm. The system takes this change into account and suggests new guidance, having invalidated the section selected. Details of the route At all times during guidance, the sub-menu
'Details of the
route' gives you access to the following functions:
- destination selected,
- see the places to be travelled through (display of roads, streets and towns to be passed),
- see the route on the map (change to map display).
A pointer located on the side indicates your position in rela- tion to the route. Geographical information The sub-menu 'Geographical information' presents the
GPS information regarding the position of the vehicle.

Guidance options The sub-menu'Guidance options' offers various
possibilities for improving guidance:- calculation criteria,- voice synthesis adjustment,- managing the directories,- clearing the directories. Calculation criteria Select the criteria which interest you from the proposed list, then confirm. When the criteria of your choice have been selected, choo- se the ''OK'' function, then confirm. Voice synthesis adjustment Activate using the
'Switch off/Activate' button, then
confirm:
- once to cancel the function,
- a second time to re-activate it.Select "Female speaker" or "Male speaker" , then confirm.
Select the volume adjustment zone, then confirm:
- turn the dial clockwise to increase the volume,
- turn the dial anti-clockwise to decrease the volume,
- confirm the setting.Select the 'OK'function when the setting is satisfactory,
then confirm.Note: the voice synthesis volume can also be adjusted
during a message using the audio system button or the steering wheel stalk.

Managing the directories This allows a stored address to be renamed or deleted, by selecting the directory then the details to be modified. Select the 'Delete' function, then confirm, to delete the
selected address in the chosen directory.Select the 'Rename' function, then confirm, to change the
wording of the address.Select the 'OK' function to record the modifications made.
Clearing the directories Select the directory to be cleared, or all data for all the directories, then confirm. Stopping/resuming guidance
- Stopping guidanceDuring guidance, select this function, then confirm.The guidance will then be interrupted.
- Resuming guidanceIn the absence of guidance, select this function, then confirm, to activate guidance to the last destination programmed.

AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING Located on the centre console, the control panel is between the multi-function display and the audio system. The driver and front passenger can each adjust the temperature and the air dis- tribution, to suit their requirements. Do not cover the sunshine / brightness sensor located in the centre of the fascia. It helps to regulate the air conditioning, automatic switching on ofthe lights and the automatic adjustment of the instrument panel bright-ness. 3 - Driver comfort

 Press the 'AUTO'button(s).
The system adjusts automatically tothe required value .
It also controls the air distribution,
flow and intake so that there is suffi-cient air circulation in the passengercompartment. The air flow (fan) symbol and the
'AUTO' symbols are displayed.
Note: when programme 5or function
11 (following pages) are being used,
the 'AUTO' passenger button does
not operate; it causes temporaryflashing of button 5or 11 indicator
light.

5 - Visibility programme
In certain cases, the comfort programmemay prove inadequateto demist or de-ice the
windows (humidity,
many passengers, ice).
 In this situation, select the visibili-ty programme for rapid clearing ofthe windows.
It manages the air conditioning and
the air flow and intake and distrib-utes the ventilation towards the wind-screen and the side windows. The symbols 'A/C', 'AUTO' and air
flow (fan) are displayed. Note: for your comfort, between two
starting operations the settings are retained if the temperature of thepassenger compartment has not var-ied a great deal. If it has, automaticmode is used. Manual adjustment
You may, if you wish, make a differ-
ent selection from the one offered bythe system, by manually modifying asetting.
 Pressing the 'AUTO'driver or
passenger button enables you to return to the corresponding auto-matic operation.
6 - Adjustment ofthe driver's airdistribution
7 - Adjustment of the passenger'sair distribution
 Pressing the dri-ver's or passen-ger's button severaltimes in succession
allows you to position the air flow onthe driver's or passenger's side,towards:
Ð the windscreen and the feet,
Ð the feet,
Ð the centre vent, the side ventand the feet,
Ð the centre vent and the side vent,
Ð the windscreen. Note:
when programme 5(following
page) is being used, button 7does
not operate; it causes temporary flashing of the button 5indicator
light.
8 - Air conditioning (A/C) on/off
 Press this button once to stop the airconditioning.
The symbol 'A/C'goes out.
 Press this button again to return toautomatic air conditioning.
The symbol 'A/C' comes on.

Flashing of the points in the temperature settingvalues indicates thatthere is a malfunction of
the air conditioning. Contact your
PEUGEOT dealer
9 - Switching off the system
 Press the 'OFF'
button.
This action switches
off the display and the
indicator lights and disarms all thesystem functions, with the exceptionof demisting of the rear screen.
 Press this button, button 5or one
of the two 'AUTO' buttons again to
reactivate the system with the val- ues which were present before it
was switched off.
10 - Air flow Press buttons '+'
and '-'respectively
to increase ordecrease the air
flow.
As the air flow is adjusted, the innersections of the air flow symbol (fan)are filled in accordingly on the dis-
play. 11 - Air intake/
Recirculation
 Press this button torecirculate the inte-
rior air.
Recirculation insulatesthe passenger com-
partment from outside smells andsmoke.
Avoid prolonged operation of inte- rior air recirculation (risk of con-densation and deterioration of airquality).
 Press this button again to returnair intake to automatic control. 12 - Demisting the
rear screen
 Press this button,with the enginerunning, to demistthe rear screen andthe mirrors.
Demisting stops automatically afterfifteen minutes.  Press again to resume demisting.
If the engine is switched off beforethe end of the fifteen minutes,demisting will resume when theengine is switched on again.
Note: it is possible to stop demisting
before it goes off automatically, bypressing the button again. Note: the condensation created by
the air conditioning system causes a flow of water under the vehicle when
stationary, which is perfectly normal.

THE SEATS Manual front seats
1 - Forwards-backwards adjustment
Lift the lever and slide the seat forwards or backwards.
2 - Seat cushion angle adjustment *
Raise the catch while pressing on or easing off the seat back to obtain the required height.
3 - Driver's seat height adjustment* Raise the catch to obtain the required height.
4 - Seat back angle adjustment Raise the catch to obtain the required angle.
5 - Lumbar adjustment *
Raise or lower the lever to obtain the correct position.
6 - Head restraint height adjustment The head restraint has a frame with notches whichprevent the head restraint dropping down (safety
device in the event of an impact).
To raise the head restraint, push it upwards.
The setting is correct when the upper edge of the head restraint is level with the top of the head.
To lower the head restraint, it is necessary to pushsimultaneously : Ð
the button located on the base of the head restraint frame,
Ð the head restraint downwards.
To remove the head restraint, lift it out by pressing the lug.
Warning : never drive with the head restraints removed; they
must be in place and correctly adjusted.
* Driver's seat only.
