o n t h e b a c k o f t h e t r i m ) o p p o s i t e t h e

Fixing the "space-saving" spare
wheel
I f y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a l l o y
wheels, it is normal to notice that the
washers do not come into contact
w i t h t h e " s p a c e - s a v i n g " s p a r e w h e e l
w h e n t i g h t e n i n g t h e b o l t s o n fi t t i n g .
T h e w h e e l i s r e t a i n e d b y t h e c o n i c a l
contact of each bolt.
Access to the spare wheel in the 7 seat configuration
The "space-saving" s p a r e w h e e l i s i n -
s t a l l e d o n t h e o u t s i d e , u n d e r t h e b o o t ,
s u p p o r t e d b y a m e t a l c a r r i e r .
T o g a i n a c c e s s t o t h e t o o l s , r e f e r t o t h e
" A c c e s s t o t h e t o o l s " p a r a g r a p h . Putting the wheel back in place
P u t t h e w h e e l b a c k i n p l a c e i n i t s
carrier.
Lift the carrier C a n d r e p o s i t i o n t h e
hook D .
O p e n t h e l o w e r t a i l g a t e ( r e f e r t o t h e
"Access" section).
R e m o v e t h e p l a s t i c c o v e r A u s i n g
the handle 3 .
U n s c r e w t h e s p a r e w h e e l c a r r i e r r e -
t a i n i n g b o l t B u s i n g t h e w h e e l b r a c e 1 .
C l o s e t h e l o w e r t a i l g a t e ( r e f e r t o t h e
"Access" section).
Lift the carrier C to detach the hook D
then allow it to lower.
T i g h t e n t h e s p a r e w h e e l c a r r i e r r e -
t a i n i n g b o l t B f u l l y u s i n g t h e w h e e l -
brace 1 .
R e fi t t h e p l a s t i c c o v e r A , close the
l o w e r t a i l g a t e a n d s t o r e t h e t o o l s .

Fixing the "steel" spare wheel
I f y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a l l o y
wheels, it is normal to notice that the
washers do not come into contact
w i t h t h e " s p a c e - s a v i n g " s p a r e w h e e l
w h e n t i g h t e n i n g t h e b o l t s o n fi t t i n g .
T h e w h e e l i s r e t a i n e d b y t h e c o n i c a l
contact of each bolt.
Removing the wheel
O p e n t h e t a i l g a t e a n d t h e l o w e r t a i l -
g a t e ( r e f e r t o t h e " A c c e s s " s e c t i o n ) .
T a k e o u t t h e h a n d l e 3 (refer to the
" A c c e s s t o t h e t o o l s " p a r a g r a p h ) .
R e m o v e t h e p l a s t i c c o v e r A u s i n g
the handle 3 . Putting the wheel back in place
P u t t h e w h e e l b a c k i n p l a c e i n i t s
carrier.
Pass the hook C into the chain.
O p e n t h e l o w e r t a i l g a t e ( r e f e r t o t h e
"Access" section).
U n s c r e w t h e r e t a i n i n g b o l t B fully
u s i n g t h e w h e e l b r a c e 1 , t o u n w i n d
the winch cable.
C l o s e t h e l o w e r t a i l g a t e ( r e f e r t o t h e
" Access" section).
Detach the hook C from the chain.
U n w i n d t h e w i n c h c a b l e f u l l y t o m a k e
u n h o o k i n g o f t h e c h a i n e a s i e r .
T i g h t e n t h e w i n c h r e t a i n i n g b o l t B
f u l l y u s i n g t h e w h e e l b r a c e 1 .
R e fi t t h e p l a s t i c c o v e r A , close the
l o w e r t a i l g a t e a n d s t o r e t h e t o o l s .

w h e e l t o b e c h a n g e d .

theft bolt.
U n l o c k t h e o t h e r b o l t s u s i n g t h e
wheelbrace 1 o n l y .
P l a c e t h e j a c k 2 in contact with one
of the two front A or rear B locations
p r o v i d e d o n t h e u n d e r f r a m e , w h i c h -
ever is closest to the wheel to be
c h a n g e d .
E x t e n d t h e j a c k 2 u n t i l i t s b a s e p l a t e
i s i n c o n t a c t w i t h t h e g r o u n d . E n s u r e
t h a t t h e c e n t r e l i n e o f t h e j a c k b a s e
p l a t e i s d i r e c t l y b e l o w t h e l o c a t i o n A
or B u s e d .
R a i s e t h e v e h i c l e u n t i l t h e r e i s s u f fi -
c i e n t s p a c e b e t w e e n t h e w h e e l a n d
t h e g r o u n d t o a d m i t t h e s p a r e ( n o t
p u n c t u r e d ) w h e e l e a s i l y .
Remove the bolts and store them in
a c l e a n p l a c e .
Remove the wheel.
