 gearbox  then  operates  in  auto-adaptive Â

ode,  without  any  intervention  on  the  part Â

f  the  driver.  It  continuously  selects  the  most Â
s
uitable  gear  according  to  the  style  of  driving, Â
t
he  profile  of  the  road  and  the  load  in  the Â
v
ehicle.
For
 maximum  acceleration  without  touching Â
t
he  selector,  press  the  accelerator  pedal  down Â
f
ully  (kick  down).  The  gearbox  changes  down Â
a
utomatically  or  maintains  the  gear  selected Â
u
ntil  the  maximum  engine  speed  is  reached.
On
 braking,  the  gearbox  changes  down Â

If you release the accelerator sharply, the

Stopping the vehicle
Before switching off the engine, you can engage  position  P or N  to  place  the  gearbox  in Â

Operating fault
and a message in the multifunction screen, indicates  a  gearbox  fault.
In
 this  case,  the  gearbox  switches  to  back-up Â

ode  and  is  locked  in  3rd  gear.  You  may  feel Â

 substantial  knock  when  changing  from  P
to R
 and  from  N to R.
 This  will  not  cause  any Â

amage  to  the  gearbox.

Programming Leaving limiter mode
F Turn thumb  wheel  1 to the "0" position:  t
he  speed  limiter  mode  is  deselected.  The Â

isplay  returns  to  the  distance  recorder.
On
 a  steep  descent  or  in  the  event  of Â

harp  acceleration,  the  speed  limiter Â

ill not be able to prevent the vehicle
from
 exceeding  the  programmed  speed.

 avoid  any  risk  of  jamming  of  the Â

o  not  fit  one  mat  on  top  of  another.
In
 the  event  of  a  speed  limiter  fault,  the  speed Â

Pressing the accelerator pedal to exceed the programmed speed will not  have  any  effect  unless  you  press  the  pedal  firmly past the point of
resistance .

In good or rainy weather, both day and  night,  the  front  foglamps  and  the Â
r
ear  foglamp  are  prohibited.  In  these Â
s
ituations,  the  power  of  their  beams Â
m
ay  dazzle  other  drivers.  They  should Â
o
nly  be  used  in  fog  or  snow.
In
 these  weather  conditions,  it  is  your Â
r
esponsibility  to  switch  on  the  foglamps Â
a
nd  dipped  beam  headlamps  manually Â
a
s  the  sunshine  sensor  may  detect Â
s
ufficient  light.
Do
 not  forget  to  switch  off  the  front Â
f
oglamps  and  the  rear  foglamp  when Â
t
hey  are  no  longer  necessary.Switching on the lamps

To reactivate the lighting control, rotate the  ring  to  the  "0" position  -  lamps  off, Â

hen  to  the  desired  position.
On
 opening  the  driver's  door  a Â

emporary  audible  signal  warns  the Â

The
 lamps,  with  the  exception  of  the Â
s
idelamps,  switch  off  automatically  after Â

 maximum  duration  of  thirty  minutes  to Â

revent  discharging  of  the  battery.
