Recommendations on storage
AdBlue® freezes at about -11°C and d

Warning triangle
This safety device should be used in addition to the  hazard  warning  lamps.
Its
 presence  in  the  vehicle  is  mandatory  in Â

ome  countries.

 location  for  stowing  the  warning  triangle  is Â

rovided  in  the  tailgate  interior  trim.
Placing the triangle in the road
F Place the  triangle  behind  the  vehicle,  as  r
equired  by  the  legislation  in  force  in  your Â

 leaving  your  vehicle  to  set  up Â

nd  install  the  triangle,  switch  on  the Â

azard  warning  lamps  and  put  on  your Â

 kit  consists  of  a  compressor  and  a  sealant  cartridge.
It allows the temporary repair

of  a  tyre.
You  are  then  able  to  go  to  the  nearest  garage.
It  is  designed  to  repair  most  punctures  which  could  affect  the  tyre,  located  on  the  tyre  tread  or Â
s
houlder.
Its  compressor  can  be  used  to  check  and  adjust  the  pressure  of  the  tyre.

tyre  to  be  repaired.

pressure
 reaches  2.0  bars.

he  sealant  is  injected  into  the  tyre  under Â

ressure;  do  not  disconnect  the  pipe  from Â
t
he  valve  during  this  operation  (risk  of Â
sp
lashing).
If
 after  around  5  to  7  minutes  the Â
p
ressure  is  not  attained,  this  indicates Â
t
hat  the  tyre  is  not  repairable;  contact Â
a
 CITROËN  dealer  or  a  qualified Â
w
orkshop  for  assistance. F
 R emove  the  kit  and  screw  the  cap  back  on  t
he  white  pipe.
 T
ake  care  to  avoid  staining  your  vehicle Â
w
ith  traces  of  fluid.  Keep  the  kit  to  hand.

rive  immediately  for  approximately Â

hree  miles  (five  kilometres),  at  reduced Â
s
peed  (between  15  and  35  mph Â
(
20 and 60 km/h)),  to  plug  the  puncture.

top  to  check  the  repair  and  the  tyre Â

ressure  using  the  kit.
Tyre under-inflation detection
After repair of the tyre, the warning lamp  will  remain  on  until  the  system  is Â

einitialised.

Removing the cartridge
F Stow the  black  pipe.
F Detach the angled base from the white pipe.F Support  the  compressor  vertically.
F  U nscrew  the  cartridge  from  the  bottom.Beware
 of  discharges  of  fluid.
The  expiry  date  of  the  fluid  is  indicated  o
n  the  cartridge.
The
 sealant  cartridge  is  designed  for Â
s
ingle  use;  even  if  only  partly  used,  it Â
m
ust  be  replaced.
After
 use,  do  not  discard  the  cartridge Â
i
nto  the  environment,  take  it  to  an Â
a
uthorised  waste  disposal  site  or  a Â
C
ITROËN  dealer.
Do
 not  forget  to  obtain  a  new  sealant Â
c
artridge,  available  from  CITROËN Â
d
ealers  or  from  a  qualified  workshop.
