3-Mode Drive System
There are three driving modes for your vehicle: SPORT, NORMAL and ECON. Each mode offers a different level of driving performance.
The mode buttons are located on the control panel. NORMAL mode, wh ich is most suitable for all-purpose driving, is the default setting for
your vehicle.
The indicator of the
selected mode comes on.
SPORT Mode
Increases engine performance and
handling. Best suited for driving in hilly
regions and on open, curvy roads.
NORMAL Mode
Balances driving performance and fuel
economy. Best fo
r most driving
situations. ECON Mode
Maximizes fuel economy. Provides
longer Auto Idle Stop operating time
when the climate control system is in
use.
The indicator blinks when the Plus Sport
System stands by to be activated, and
when the system is in operation.
Press the button, then depress the
accelerator pedal to activate the Plus
Sport System in any driving mode (SPORT,
NORMAL, or ECON).
This helps you to momentarily accelerate
with more power when you depress the
accelerator pedal.

The Honda IMA System
The main power source for the Honda IMA system is the gasoline engine.
The electric motor assists the engine to improve fuel economy, based on
current operating conditions.Tips to Improve Fuel Economy
To help your vehicle’s fuel economy:
●Avoid aggressive acceleration/braking
● Monitor the ambient meter and the Eco drive bar
displayed on the multi-information display.

VSA® OFF Button (P277)
● The vehicle stability assist (VSA® ) system
helps stabilize the vehicle during
cornering, and helps maintain traction
while accelerating on loose or slippery
road surfaces.
● VSA ® comes on automatically every time
you start the engine.
● To turn VSA ® on or off, press and hold
the button until you hear a beep.
Cruise Control (P273)
● Cruise control allows you to maintain a
set speed without keeping your foot on
the accelerator pedal.
● To use cruise control, press the CRUISE
button, then press DECEL/SET once you
have achieved the desired speed above 25
mph or 40 km/h.
Tire Pressure Monitoring
System (TPMS)

● TPMS monitors tire pressure.
● TPMS is turned on automatically every
time you start the engine.
U.S. models only
Refueling (P293)
Fuel recommendation: Unlea ded gasoline with a pump octane number 87 or
higher required
Fuel tank capacity: 10.6 US gal (40 L)

center of the rear edge
of the fuel fill door.
