The tyre pressure monitor* has detected
a significant pressure loss. X
Stop the vehicle without making any sudden
steering or braking manoeuvres. Pay attention
to traffic conditions as you do so.
X Check the tyres.
X Check the tyre pressure and correct it, if nec-
essary ( Ypage 164).
X Repair or change the faulty wheel as neces-
sary ( Ypage 244).
X Then restart the tyre pressure monitor* once
the tyre pressure is correct (Y page 166).Practical advice

carry out the work required.
Mercedes-Benz recommends that you use a Mercedes-Benz Service Centre for this purpose.

Start the engine.
X Switch off consumers that are not required. 2 Brake wear The brake pads/linings have reached
their wear limit. X
Have the brake pads/linings replaced as soon
as possible at a qualified specialist workshop. 3 Check brake fluid

There is insufficient brake fluid in the
brake fluid reservoir. X
Pull over as soon as it is safe to do so.
X Do not continue driving under any circumstan-
ces.

X Do not top up the brake fluid. This will not rec-

Top up the coolant, observing the warning
notes before doing so (Y page 161).
