Triggering
This is indicated by sounding of the
s i r e n a n d fl a s h i n g o f t h e d i r e c t i o n i n d i -
cators for approximately thirty seconds.
After it has been triggered, the alarm is
again operational. If the alarm is triggered ten times in
succession, the eleventh time will
result in it becoming inactive.
If the indicator lamp on button A
fl a s h e s r a p i d l y , t h i s i n d i c a t e s t h a t
the alarm was triggered during
your absence. When the ignition is
s w i t c h e d o n , t h i s fl a s h i n g s t o p s i m -
mediately.
To avoid triggering the alarm when
washing your vehicle, lock it using
the key.
Do not activate the alarm before
disconnecting the battery, other-
wise the siren will sound. Failure of the remote control
Unlock the vehicle using the key in
the driver's door lock.
Open the door; the alarm is triggered.
Switch on the ignition; the alarm
stops.

Malfunction
When the ignition is switched on, light-
ing of the indicator lamp on button
A for
ten seconds indicates a siren fault.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Locking the vehicle without alarm
Lock or deadlock the vehicle using
the key in the driver's door lock. Automatic operation *
Depending on the legislation in force in
your country, one of these cases may
occur:
- 45 seconds after the vehicle is
locked using the remote control, the
alarm is activated, regardless of the
status of the doors and boot.
- 2 minutes after the last door or the boot is closed, the alarm is activated.
To avoid triggering the alarm on
e n t e r i n g t h e v e h i c l e , fi r s t p r e s s
the unlocking button on the re-
mote control.

PANORAMIC ROOF (SALOON)
System which consists of a panoramic
surface of tinted glass to increase the
light and visibility in the passenger com-
p a r t m e n t . I t i s fi t t e d w i t h a m a n u a l b l i n d
in two parts to maintain a comfortable
temperature.
Take the blind by its handle and
push it rearwards to the required
position.
Opening
Closing
Take the blind by its handle and pull
it forwards to the required position. If an obstacle is encountered dur-
ing operation of the blind, the
movement of the blind must be re-
versed. To do this, press the con-
trol concerned.
When the driver operates the blind
control, he must ensure that no one
is preventing correct closing of the
blind.
The driver must ensure that pas-
sengers use the blind correctly.
Be aware of children when operating
the blind.
PANORAMIC ROOF (SW)
System which consists of a panoramic
surface of tinted glass to increase the

LIGHTING CONTROLS
System for selection and control of the
various front and rear lamps providing
the vehicle’s lighting. Manual controls
The lighting commands are made direct-
ly by the driver by means of ring
A and
stalk B .
lighting off,
sidelamps only,
dipped or main beam head-lamps,
B. stalk for inversion of the beam by pull-
ing: dipped headlamps/main beam
headlamps.
In the lighting off and sidelamps modes,
the driver can switch on the main beam
h e a d l a m p s d i r e c t l y ( " h e a d l a m p fl a s h " )
by pulling and holding the stalk.
Displays
The corresponding indicator lamp
comes on on the instrument panel to
c o n fi r m t h e s w i t c h i n g o n o f t h e l i g h t i n g
selected.
Main lighting
The vehicle’s various front and rear lamps
are designed to adapt the driver’s visibility
gradually in relation to the climatic condi-
tions:
- sidelamps, to be seen,
- dipped beam headlamps to see
without dazzling other drivers,
-main beam headlamps for good visibility when the road is clear.
Additional lighting
Other lamps are installed to respond to
particular driving conditions:
- rear foglamps to be seen from a dis-tance,
- front foglamps for even better visibility,
- directional headlamps for improved visibility around bends.
Programmes
Various automatic lighting control modes are also available according to the fol-lowing options:
- "guide-me-home" lighting,
- automatic lighting,
- static directional lighting.

Model with rear foglamps only

C. foglamps selection ring. These operate with the dipped and main beam headlamps.
To switch on the foglamps, turn ring C
forwards.
When the lights are switched off auto- m a t i c a l l y ( o n A U T O m o d e l ) , t h e f o g lamps and the dipped headlamps will remain on.
To switch off all of the lighting turn
ring C rearwards.
To switch on the foglamps, turn ring C
forwards.
To switch off the rear foglamps, turn
ring C rearwards twice in succession.
When the lighting is switched off au-
t o m a t i c a l l y ( o n A U T O m o d e l ) o r w h e n
the dipped headlamps are switched off
manually, the foglamps and the sidela-
mps will remain on.
Turn the ring rearwards to switch
off the foglamps, the sidelamps will
then switch off. In good weather or in rain, both day
and night, the front foglamps and
the rear foglamps are prohibited. In
these situations, the intensity of their
beams may dazzle other drivers.
Do not forget to switch off the front
foglamps and the rear foglamps
when they are no longer necessary.
Lighting on reminder
The triggering of an audible signal
when a front door is opened warns
the driver that they have forgotten
to switch off the vehicle’s lighting,
with the ignition off.
In this case, switching off the light-
ing will stop the audible signal.

Therefore, the lighting will not come
on automatically.
Do not cover the brightness sen-
sor, coupled with the rain sensor
and located in the centre of the
windscreen behind the interior mir-
ror; the associated functions would
no longer be controlled.
Coupling with the "Guide-me-home"
lighting
Association with the automatic lighting
provides the "guide-me-home" lighting
with the following additional options:
- selection of the lighting duration to
15, 30 or 60 seconds in the vehi-
cle parameters on the multifunction
s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u ,
- automatic activation of "guide-me- home" lighting when automatic lighting
is in operation.

The sidelamps and dipped beam head-
lamps are switched on automatically,
without any action on the part of the
driver, when a low level of external light
is detected (sensor behind the interior
m i r r o r ) o r w h e n t h e w i n d s c r e e n w i p e r s
are switched on.
As soon as the brightness returns to a
s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l o r a f t e r t h e w i n d s c r e e n
wipers are switched off, the lighting is
switched off automatically.
"Guide-me-home" lighting
porarily, after switching off the vehicle's ignition, to make the driver's exit easier in poor light.
Activation
With the ignition off, activate a
" h e a d l a m p fl a s h " u s i n g s t a l k B .
A s e c o n d " h e a d l a m p fl a s h " s w i t c h e s the function off again.

the service warning lamp, an
audible signal and a message on the
multifunction screen.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Daytime running lamps *
O n v e h i c l e s fi t t e d w i t h d a y t i m e r u n n i n g
lamps, the dipped headlamps come on
when the vehicle is started.
This indicator lamp comes on
on the instrument panel.
The instruments and controls (instru-
ment panel, multifunction screen, air
c o n d i t i o n i n g c o n t r o l p a n e l , . . . ) a r e n o t
lit, unless the automatic lighting mode
is activated or the lighting is switched
on manually.
Deactivation
Turn ring A to a position other than
" AUTO ". Deactivation is accompanied
by a message on the multifunction
screen.

STATIC DIRECTIONAL
LIGHTING
When the dipped or main beam head-lamps are on, this function enables the beam to light the inside of the turn with an additional angle of approximately 30°.
The use of this lighting is optimum above all at low and average speed (city driving, w i n d i n g r o a d s , . . . ) .

Switching on
The system is switched on from a certain speed and a certain angle of rotation of the steering wheel.
Operating fault The function is activated or
deactivated via the multi-
f u n c t i o n s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a -
tion menu.
By default, this function is activated.
In the event of a malfunction,
t h i s w a r n i n g l a m p fl a s h e s o n
the instrument panel, accom-
panied by a message on the
multifunction screen.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Switching off
The system is switched off below a certain angle of rotation of the steering wheel.
It is switched off when reverse gear is engaged.
HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT
To avoid causing a nuisance to other road users, the height of the headlamps should be adjusted in relation to the load in the vehicle.
0. 1 or 2 people in the front seats.
-. 3 people.
1. 5 people.
2. 5 people + maximum authorised load.
3. Driver + maximum authorised load. without directional lighting

lamp comes on gradually: Map reading lamps
With the ignition on, press the cor-responding switch.
- when the vehicle is unlocked, - when the key is removed from the ignition, - when the remote control locking but-ton is activated, in order to locate your vehicle.
Permanently off.
Permanent lighting.
It switches off gradually:
- when the vehicle is locked,
- when the ignition is switched on,
- 30 seconds after the last door is closed.

DIRECTION INDICATORS
Selection of the left or right direction indi-cators to signal a change of direction of the vehicle.
Lower the lighting stalk when mov-
ing to the left.
Raise the lighting stalk when mov-
ing to the right. "Motorway" function
System for indicating a change of lane
on a motorway.
M o v e t h e l i g h t i n g s t a l k b r i e fl y u p -
wards or downwards, without going
beyond the resistance point; the di-
r e c t i o n i n d i c a t o r s w i l l fl a s h 3 t i m e s .
This function can be used at any speed,
but it is particularly useful when changing
lane on high-speed roads.
EMERGENCY OR ASSISTANCE
CALL
This system allows you to make an
emergency or assistance call to the
emergency services or to the dedicated
PEUGEOT platform.

HAZARD WARNING LAMPS
A visual warning by means of the direc-tion indicators to alert other road users to a vehicle breakdown, towing or accident.

if you are the last in the queue.
Press the button A , the direction in-
d i c a t o r s fl a s h .
They can operate with the ignition off.
Automatic lighting of hazard
warning lamps
When braking in an emergency, de-
pending on the deceleration, the hazard
warning lamps come on.
They will switch off automatically the
fi r s t t i m e y o u a c c e l e r a t e .
If they do not, press button A to
switch the direction indicators off. HORN
Press one of the spokes of the steering wheel.
- when passing a cyclist or a pe-
destrian,
Audible warning to alert other road users to an imminent danger.
