In fog or snow, the brightness
s e n s o r m a y d e t e c t s u f fi c i e n t l i g h t .
Therefore, the lighting will not come
on automatically.
Do not cover the brightness sen-
sor, coupled with the rain sensor
and located in the centre of the
windscreen behind the interior mir-
ror; the associated functions would
no longer be controlled.
Coupling with the "Guide-me-home"
lighting
Association with the automatic lighting
provides the "guide-me-home" lighting
with the following additional options:
- selection of the lighting duration to
15, 30 or 60 seconds in the vehi-
cle parameters on the multifunction
s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u ,
- automatic activation of "guide-me- home" lighting when automatic lighting
is in operation.
Automatic lighting
The sidelamps and dipped beam head-
lamps are switched on automatically,
without any action on the part of the
driver, when a low level of external light
is detected (sensor behind the interior
m i r r o r ) o r w h e n t h e w i n d s c r e e n w i p e r s
are switched on.
As soon as the brightness returns to a
s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l o r a f t e r t h e w i n d s c r e e n
wipers are switched off, the lighting is
switched off automatically.
"Guide-me-home" lighting
porarily, after switching off the vehicle's ignition, to make the driver's exit easier in poor light.
Activation
With the ignition off, activate a
" h e a d l a m p fl a s h " u s i n g s t a l k B .
A s e c o n d " h e a d l a m p fl a s h " s w i t c h e s the function off again.

The "fguide-me-home" lighting is switched
off automatically following the door lock-
ing command, after a given time. Activation
Turn ring A to the " AUTO " position.
The automatic lighting is accompanied
by a message on the multifunction
screen. Operating fault
In the event of a malfunction of
the brightness sensor, the light-
ing comes on accompanied by
the service warning lamp, an
audible signal and a message on the
multifunction screen.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Daytime running lamps *
O n v e h i c l e s fi t t e d w i t h d a y t i m e r u n n i n g
lamps, the dipped headlamps come on
when the vehicle is started.
This indicator lamp comes on
on the instrument panel.
The instruments and controls (instru-
ment panel, multifunction screen, air
c o n d i t i o n i n g c o n t r o l p a n e l , . . . ) a r e n o t
lit, unless the automatic lighting mode
is activated or the lighting is switched
on manually.
Deactivation
Turn ring A to a position other than

WIPER CONTROLS
System for the selection and control of
the various front and rear wiping modes
permitting the dispersal of rain and
cleaning.
The vehicle's various front and rear wip-
ers are designed to gradually improve
the driver's visibility in relation to the
weather conditions. Manual controls
The wiping commands are made directly
by the driver using stalk
A and ring B .

Programmes
Various automatic wiping control modes
are also available depending on the fol-
lowing options:
- automatic windscreen wiping,

Reverse gear
When reverse gear is engaged, if the
windscreen wipers are operating, the
rear wiper will start.
Programming
Pull the windscreen wiper stalk to-wards you. The windscreen wash then the windscreen wipers operate f o r a fi x e d p e r i o d .
The headlamp wash is also activated, if the dipped headlamps are on .
Rear wiper
In the presence of snow or con-
siderable frost and when using a
tailgate bicycle carrier, deactivate
the automatic rear wiper via the
m u l t i f u n c t i o n s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a t i o n
menu. The function is activated or
switched off via the multi-
f u n c t i o n s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a -
tion menu.
By default, this function is
activated.

Special position of the windscreen wipers Automatic windscreen wiping
The windscreen wipers operate auto-
matically, without any action on the part
of the driver, if rain is detected (sensor
b e h i n d t h e i n t e r i o r m i r r o r ) , a d a p t i n g t h e i r
speed to the intensity of the rainfall.
Activation
This is controlled manually by the driver
by pushing the stalk A to the "AUTO"
position.
It is accompanied by a message on the
multifunction screen.
the ignition, any action on the stalk posi-tions the wipers in the centre of the windscreen.
This action enables you to position the wiper blades for winter parking.
To park the wipers after this has been done, switch on the ignition and operate the stalk.
Do not cover the rain sensor, cou-
pled with the brightness sensor and
located in the centre of the wind-
screen behind the interior mirror.
Switch off the ignition when using
an automatic car wash.
In winter, it is advisable to wait until
the windscreen is completely clear
of ice before activating the auto-
matic wiping. The automatic wiping must be re-
activated if the ignition has been off
for more than one minute, by push-
ing the stalk
A downwards.
Switching off
This is controlled manually by the driver
by moving the stalk A to another posi-
tion and returning it to position "0" .
It is accompanied by a message on the
multifunction screen. Operating fault
If an automatic wiping malfunction oc-
curs, the wipers will operate in intermittent
mode.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.

Unclip the cover.
Replace the fuse (refer to the cor-

ENERGY ECONOMY MODE
System which manages the duration of
use of certain functions to conserve a
s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l o f c h a r g e i n t h e b a t t e r y .
After the engine has stopped, you can
still use functions such as the audio
equipment, windscreen wipers, dipped
headlamps, courtesy lights, etc. for a
m a x i m u m c o m b i n e d d u r a t i o n o f t h i r -
ty minutes. Exiting economy mode
These functions are reactivated auto-
m a t i c a l l y n e x t t i m e t h e v e h i c l e i s d r i v e n .
In order to resume the use of these
functions immediately, start the en-
gine and let it run for a few minutes.
The time available to you will then
be double the duration for which the
engine is left running. However, this
p e r i o d w i l l a l w a y s b e b e t w e e n fi v e a n d
thirty minutes.
Switching to economy mode
Once the thirty minutes are over, a
message appears on the multi-func-
tion display indicating that the vehicle
has switched to economy mode and the
active functions are put on standby. CHANGING A WIPER BLADE Procedure for replacing a worn wiper blade with a new one without the use of tools.
Removing a front or rear wiper
blade
Raise the corresponding wiper arm.
Unclip the wiper blade and remove it.
Fitting a front or rear wiper
blade
At the front, check the size of the wiper blade as the shorter blade is fi t t e d o n t h e r i g h t - h a n d s i d e o f t h e vehicle.
Put the corresponding new wiper blade in place and clip it.
Fold down the wiper arm carefully.
