Warning lights
When the engine is running or the vehicle is being driven, the switching on of one of the following warning lights indicates the
occurrence of a fault which requires action on the part of the driver.
Any fault resulting in the switching on of a warning ligh t must be investigated further by reading the associated message on
the multifunction display.

STOP
fi x e d , a s s o c i a t e d w i t h another warning light and accompanied by a message on the display.
It is associated with a punctured wheel, the braking, the power steering, the engine oil pressure or the coolant temperature.
You must stop immediately where it is safe to do so.
Park, switch off the ignition and call a P E U G E O T d e a l e r .
Service
temporarily. A minor fault which does not h a v e a s p e c i fi c w a r n i n g l i g h t has occurred.
Identify the fault by consulting the message shown on the display, such as:
- the closing of the doors, boot or bonnet,
- the engine oil level,
- the screenwash level,
- the remote control battery,
- the pressure of the tyres,
- the end of saturation of the particle e m i s s i o n fi l t e r ( D i e s e l ) .
For any other faults, contact a P E U G E O T d e a l e r .
fi x e d . A major fault which does not h a v e a s p e c i fi c w a r n i n g l i g h t has occurred.
Identify the fault by consulting the message shown on the display and c o n t a c t a P E U G E O T d e a l e r .
Electronic parking brake fl a s h i n g . The electronic brake is not applied automatically.
You must stop immediately where it is safe to do so.

Door(s) open
fi x e d i f t h e s p e e d i s below 6 mph (10 km/h). A door, the boot, the lower tailgate or the bonnet (only with alarm) is still open. Close the access concerned. fi x e d i f t h e s p e e d i s above 6 mph (10 km/h), accompanied by an audible signal.
Seat belt not fastened/unfastened
fi x e d t h e n fl a s h i n g accompanied by an audible signal.
The driver and/or the front passenger has not fastened or has unfastened his seat belt.
One or more rear passengers have also unfastened their seat belt.
Pull the strap then insert the tongue in the buckle.
Air bags
temporarily.
This light comes on for a few seconds then switches off when you turn the ignition to "ON".
This light should switch off when the engine is started.
If it does not switch off, contact a P E U G E O T d e a l e r .

Water in diesel fi x e d .
T h e d i e s e l fi l t e r c o n t a i n s water.
There is a risk of damage to the injection system on Diesel engines.

Directional headlamps fl a s h i n g . The directional headlamps system is faulty. C o n t a c t a P E U G E O T d e a l e r .
D e fl a t e d wheel fi x e d . The pressure in one or more wheels is too low. Check the pressure of the tyres as soon as possible.

STEERING WHEEL ADJUSTMENT
The height and depth of the steering
wheel can be adjusted to adapt the
driving position to the size of the driver.
A d j u s t m e n t
W h e n s t a t i o n a r y , pull the control to
unlock the steering wheel.
Adjust the height and depth.
Push the control to lock the steering
wheel.
As a safety precaution, it is
imperative that these opera-
tions are carried out while the
vehicle is stationary.

Torch
This is a removable light, incorporated
in the boot wall, which can be used to
light the boot or as a torch.
Operation
This torch operates with NiMH type ac-
cumulators.
It has an operating autonomy of approx-
imately 45 minutes and charges while
you are driving. Use
Extract the torch from its location
pulling the side of the torch A .
Press the switch, located on the
back, to switch the torch on or off.
Unfold the support, located on the
back, to set down and raise the
t o r c h ; f o r e x a m p l e , w h e n c h a n g i n g
a wheel.
Storing
Put the torch back in place in its loca-
tion starting with the narrow part B .
If you have forgotten to switch off the torch, this switches it off auto-
matically. Rear side blinds
Fitted on the rear windows, these protect
your young children from the sun.
Pull the blind by the central tab.
Position the blind attachment on the
hook.
Observe the polarities when
fi t t i n g t h e a c c u m u l a t o r s .
Never replace the accumulators
with batteries. It the torch is not engaged cor-
rectly, it may not charge and
may not come on when the
boot is opened.
For the boot lighting function,
refer to the "Visibility - § Boot
lighting" section.

To connect a 12 V accessory (max
power: 120 Watts), remove the cover
and connect a suitable adaptor.
FRONT ARMREST
Comfort and storage device for the driv-
er and front passenger.
Raise the cover on the left.
Storage
A ventilation outlet distributes cooled air.
PORTABLE ASHTRAY
Pull the cover to open the ashtray.
To empty it, remove the ashtray by
pulling it upwards.
USB PLUG - READER
This connection box, consisting of a
JACK and/or USB socket, is located in
the front armrest (under the cover).
It permits the connection of portable
equipment, such as a digital audio player
of the iPod ®
type or a USB stick.

OGG, WMA, WAV, ...) which are trans-
mitted to your audio equipment and
played via the vehicle's speakers.

When the USB socket is used, the port-
able equipment charges automatically.

When changing a wheel
The hooks permit easy access
to the spare wheel by retain-
ing the boot carpet by means of the
two cords.
The hooks permit the securing of
shopping bags.

In order to connect a 12 V accesso-
ry (max power: 120 Watts), remove
the cap and connect the appropriate
adaptor.
Turn the key to the ignition position.

Hooked onto the stowing rings on the
m o v a b l e b o o t fl o o r , t h i s e n a b l e s y o u t o
secure your luggage.
Observe the loads indicated on the side
of the boot, in accordance with the posi-
t i o n o f t h e m o v a b l e fl o o r .
For safety reasons in case of sharp
braking, we recommend that heavy ob-
j e c t s a r e p l a c e d o n t h e fl o o r a s c l o s e a s
possible to the back of the rear seats.
