Note: only use the "OFF"position occasionally (risk of condensation).
For perfectly even air distribution, take care not to obstruct the exterior air intake grilles, the vents and the air ducts und er

GENERAL POINTS RELATING TO CHILD SEATS Although one of PEUGEOT's main criteria when designing your vehicle, the safe- ty of your children also depends on you.
For maximum safety, please follow these precautions:
Ð Since 1992,
all children under the age of 10 must travel in approved child
seats* suited to their weight , on seats fitted with a seat belt.
Ð A child weighing less than 9 kg must travel in the rearwards facing position
both in the front and in the rear. PEUGEOT recommends that childrenshould travel in the "rearwards facing" position up to the age of two.
Ð Statistically, the safest seats in your vehicle for the transportation ofchildren are the rear seats. PEUGEOT recommends that children travel in the rear even when a "rearwards facing" child seat is used.
Ð If a child is travelling on a booster seat, check that the lap section of the seat belt passes over the child's thighs correctly. The chest section of the seat beltmust be positioned on the child's shoulder without touching the neck.PEUGEOT recommends that you use a booster seat with a back, fitted with a
seat belt guide.
Ð Remember to fasten the seat belt or the child seat harness keeping the slack
in relation to the child's body to a minimum , even for short journeys.
Rules for transporting children on the front passenger seat** Children under the age of 10 must not travel in the forwards facing position, unless the rear seats are already occupied by other children or the rear seatscannot be used (absent or folded). In this case, adjust the front passenger seatto the intermediate position and leave the passenger air bag armed. The transportation of children in the rearwards facing position is permitted. In this position, it is essential to disarm the passenger air bag. Otherwise, the childwould risk being killed or seriously injured if the air bag were to inflate.
* According to current legislation in the country.
** Consult the relevant administration in your country for information regarding the rules for transporting children on the front passenger seat.
"ISOFIX" MOUNTINGS The two rear seats of your vehicle are fitted with ISOFIX mountings .
These are two rings located betweenthe seat back and the seat cushion. The ISOFIX child seats are fitted
with two locks which are secured easily on these rings. Incorrect installation of a child seat in a vehicle compromises the protec-tion of the child in the event of a col-lision. This ISOFIX securing system guar- antees reliable, safe and fast fittingof the child seat in your vehicle. For information regarding the ISOFIX child seats approved for yourvehicle, contact your PEUGEOT
dealer.
