COMFORT
VENTILATION Air treatment
The incoming air follows various routes
depending on the controls selected by
the driver:
- direct arrival in the passenger compartment (air intake),
- passage through a heating circuit (heating),
- passage through a cooling circuit (air conditioning).
The temperature control enables you to
obtain the level of comfort required by
mixing the air of the various circuits. The air distribution control enables you
to diffuse the air in the passenger com-
partment combining several air vents.
T h e a i r fl o w c o n t r o l e n a b l e s y o u t o i n -
crease or reduce the speed of the venti-
lation blower.
Air intake
The air circulating in the passenger com-
p a r t m e n t i s fi l t e r e d a n d o r i g i n a t e s e i t h e r
from the outside via the grille located at
the base of the windscreen or from the
inside in air recirculation mode. Control panel
The controls of this system are grouped
together on control panel
A on the centre
console. Depending on the model, the
functions offered are:
- level of comfort required,
- a i r fl o w ,
- air distribution,
- demisting and defrosting,
- manual or automatic air conditioning controls.
Air diffusion
1. Windscreen demisting vents.
2. Front side window demisting/defrosting
vents.
3. Side adjustable air vents.
4. Central adjustable air vents.
5. Air outlets to the front footwells.
6. Adjustable air vents for the rear pas-
sengers.
7. Air outlets to the rear footwells.

FITTINGS
ILLUMINATED GLOVE BOX
Its lid has areas for storing a pen, a pair
of spectacles, tokens, cards, a can...
To open the glove box, raise the
handle.
The light comes on when the lid is
opened.
I f y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a i r c o n d i t i o n -
ing, the glove box has an air vent A ,
w h i c h c a n b e o p e n e d o r c l o s e d . T h i s d i s -
tributes the same conditioned air as the
vents in the passenger compartment.
It also gives access to the dashboard
fusebox (refer to the section "Practical
i n f o r m a t i o n - § C h a n g i n g a f u s e " ) .
C o m p o n e n t w h i c h p r o t e c t s a g a i n s t
sunlight from the front or the side, also
equipped with an illuminated courtesy
mirror.
With the ignition on, raise the
c o n c e a l i n g fl a p ; t h e m i r r o r i s l i t
automatically.
This sun visor is also equipped with a
ticket holder.
TOLL CARD/CAR PARK TICKET WINDOWS
F a c i l i t y f o r a f fi x i n g t o l l c a r d s a n d / o r c a r
park tickets.
These windows are located on each
side of the base of the rear view mirror.
T h e y a r e t w o n o n - r e fl e c t i v e a r e a s o f t h e
athermic windscreen.
The athermic windscreen limits
h e a t i n g o f t h e p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t -
ment by reducing the effects of the
s u n ' s r a y s ( u l t r a - v i o l e t ) . I t c o n s i s t s
o f a r e fl e c t i v e l a y e r , w h i c h a l s o
b l o c k s c e r t a i n r a d i o - e l e c t r i c s i g n a l s
(toll card payments, ...).

CHANGING A FUSE
Access to the tools
T h e e x t r a c t i o n p l i e r s a n d t h e s p a r e f u s -
es are installed on the back of the dash-
b o a r d f u s e b o x c o v e r .
F o r a c c e s s t o t h e m :
o p e n t h e g l o v e b o x l i d ,
push the opening guide to the left to
o p e n t o b e y o n d t h e fi r s t n o t c h ,
o p e n t h e g l o v e b o x l i d f u l l y ,
turn the screw a quarter of a turn to
the left,
u n c l i p t h e f u s e b o x c o v e r b y p u l l i n g
at the top right,
remove the cover completely,
remove the pliers. Changing a fuse
B e f o r e c h a n g i n g a f u s e , t h e c a u s e o f
t h e f a i l u r e m u s t b e i d e n t i fi e d a n d r e c t i -
fi e d .
Identify the faulty fuse by checking
t h e c o n d i t i o n o f i t s fi l a m e n t .
U s e t h e s p e c i a l p l i e r s t o e x t r a c t t h e
fuse from its housing.
Always replace the faulty fuse with a
fuse of the same rating.
Check the correspondence between
t h e n u m b e r e t c h e d o n t h e b o x , t h e
rating etched on the fuse and the
tables below.
