â– Distance to empty
â—This distance is computed based
on your average fuel consump-
tion. As a result, the actual dis-
tance that can be driven may
differ from that displayed.
â—When only a small amount of fuel
is added to the tank, the display
may not be updated. When refuel-
ing, turn the power switch off. If
the vehicle is refueled without
turning the power switch off, the
display may not be updated.
â—When “Refuel†is displayed, the
remaining fuel amount is low and
the distance that can be driven
with the remaining fuel cannot be
calculated. Refuel immediately.
â– EV driving range
â—When the air conditioning system
is operating, is displayed next
to the EV driving range and the
EV driving range with the air con-
ditioning system on is displayed.
â—The EV driving range may shorten

â—For details, refer to “EV driving
range†(P.90)
â– Outside temperature display
â—Displays the outside temperature
within the range of -40°F (-40°C)
to 140°F (60°C).
â—When the outside temperature is
approximately 37°F (3°C) or
lower, the indicator will flash
for approximately 10 seconds,
then stay on.
â—In the following situations, the cor-
rect outside temperature may not
be displayed, or the display may
take longer th an normal to
change.
• When stopped, or driving at low speeds (less than 12 mph [20
km/h])
• When the outside temperature has changed suddenly (at the
entrance/exit of a garage, tunnel,
etc.)
â—When “--†or “E†is displayed, the
system may be malfunctioning.
Take your vehicle to your Toyota
dealer.

parked in a place with adequate
ventilation. In a closed area such
as a garage, exhaust gases
including harmful carbon monox-
ide (CO) may collect and enter
the vehicle. This may lead to
death or a serious health hazard.
NOTICE
â– During setting up the display
To prevent 12-volt battery dis-
charge, ensure that the hybrid
system is operating while setting
up the display features.
