IGNITION SYSTEM
INSPECTION STEPS
Use the following steps for checking the possibility of the malfunctioning engine being attributable to ignition system failure
and for checking the spark plug which will not spark.
*1 marked: Refer to “FUSE INSPECTION” section in the CHAPTER 3.
*2 marked: Refer to “BATTERY INSPECTION AND CHARGING” section in the CHAPTER 3.
*3 marked: Only when the ignition checker is used.
NOTE:•Remove the following parts before inspection.
1) Seat
2) Fuel tank
•Use the following special tools in this inspection.
*1 Check fuse.Replace fuse and check
wire harness.
*2 Check battery. Recharge or replace.

Suivre la procédure ci-dessous pour déterminer si le mauvais fonctionnement du moteur est dû à une panne dans le circuit d’allumage
et pour vérifier une bougie qui ne produit pas d’étincelle.

Folgende Prüfschritte dienen zur Diagnose von zündungsbedingten Motorstörungen und von Zündkerzenausfall.
*1: Siehe unter “SICHERUNG KONTROLLIEREN” in KAPITEL 3.

HINWEIS:
•Vor der Kontrolle folgende Bauteile demontieren.

OPERAZIONI PER IL CONTROLLO
Eseguire le seguenti operazioni per controllare se si verificano malfunzionamenti del motore attribuibili a guasti dell’impianto di
accensione e se la candela di accensione non emette scintille.
*1: Fare riferimento al paragrafo “CONTROLLO DEL FUSIBILI” nel CAPITOLO 3.
*2: Fare riferimento al paragrafo “CONTROLLO E CARICA DELLA BATTERIA” nel CAPITOLO 3.
*3: Solo in caso di utilizzo del tester dell’accensione.
NOTA:
Togliere i seguenti componenti prima del controllo.
1) Sella
2) Serbatoio del carburante
Per questo controllo, utilizzare i seguenti attrezzi speciali.

PROCEDIMIENTO DE REVISIÓN
Utilice el procedimiento siguiente para verificar la posibilidad de que se esté produciendo n fallo del motor atribuible a un
fallo del sistema de encendido, así como comprobar la bujía.
*1 marcado: Consulte el apartado “COMPROBACIÓN DE LOS FUSIBLES” del CAPÍTULO 3.
*2 marcado: Consulte el apartado “COMPROBACIÓN Y CARGA DE LA BATERÍA” del CAPÍTULO 3.
*3 marcado: Solo cuando se utiliza el comprobador de encendido.
NOTA:
•Desmontar las piezas siguientes antes de proceder a la revisión.
1) Sillín
2) Depósito de combustible
•Utilice las herramientas especiales siguientes en esta revisión.
*1 Comprobar fusible.Cambiar el fusible y com-
probar el mazo de cables.
*2 Comprobar batería. Recargar o cambiar.

Comprobar las conexiones de todo

2. Remove the ignition coil cap.
3. Connect the dynamic spark
