REMOVAL
1. Shift the selector lever to “N” position.
2. Remove knob cover (A) below selector lever downward.
3. Pull lock pin (1) out of selector lever knob (2).
4. Remove selector lever knob.
5. Remove center console assembly. Refer to
IP-25, "
Removal and
Installation".
CAUTION:
When disconnecting connector from shift position switch,
never twist or apply an excessi ve load to the connector.
6. Remove cluster lid C lower. Refer to IP-14, "
Removal and Instal-
lation".
7. Disconnect A/T shift selector connector and main harness from A/T shift selector assembly.
8. Shift the selector lever to “P” position.
9. Remove control cable from A/T shift selector assembly. Refer to TM-178, "
Removal and Installation".
10. Remove A/T shift selector assembly.
