Replacingtheremote-controlbattery
Thebatteryshouldbechangedwhentherangeoftheradioremotecontrolbecomessmallerorwhenthelight-emittingdiodenolongerflasheswhentheremotecontrolisoperated.
1.Usingyourfingernailorasmallscrewdriver,carefullyliftoffthecoverofthekeygrip(arrow).
2.Replacethebattery(payingattentiontothepolarity).Replacementbattery-LithiumCR2032,3volts
3.Replacethecoverandpresstogetherfirmly.Pleaseobservethedisposalinstructionsforbatteries.

EmergencyStartingwithJumper
Cables
Generalinformation
Ifthebatteryisdischarged,e.g.inwinterorafterthecarhasbeenparkedforalongtime,thebatteryofanothercarcanbeusedforstartingwiththehelpofjumpercables.Makesurethevoltageofbothbatteriesisthesame.Bothbatteriesmustbe12volttypes.Thecapacity(Amperehours,Ah)oftheboosterbatterymustnotbesubstantiallylessthanthatofthedischargedbattery.Thedischargedbatterymustbecorrectlyconnectedtothevehicle’selectricalsystem.

Thecableclampsmustnotbeallowedtocontacteachotherwhenoneendofthejumpercablesareconnectedtoabattery.
Ensurethattoolsorconductivejewelry(rings,chains,watchstraps)donotcomeintocontactwiththepositivejumpercableorthepositivebatterypost.
Improperhook-upofjumpercablescanruinthealternator.

Adischargedbatterycanfreezeevenat23°F/-5°C.Beforeconnectingjumpercables,afrozenbatterymustbethawedout.
Connectjumpercablesinthefollowing
sequence:
Alwaysobservethesequencebelow:
1.Connectthepositivelead(red)tothepositiveterminalofthedischargedbatteryfirst,thenconnectittothepositiveterminalofthedonorbattery.

2.Firstconnectthenegativecable(black)tothenegativeterminalofthedonorbattery,thenconnectittoasuitablegroundingpointonthevehiclewiththedischargedbattery.Thisgroundingpointmustlieasfaraspossiblefromthebattery.Forexample,asolidmetalpartortheengineblockaresuitablegroundingpoints.Ifnosuitablegroundingpointsaretobefoundoneithervehicle,thenegativecablemustcarefullybeconnecteddirectlytothenegativeterminalofthebattery.Ifasuitablegroundingpointistobefoundonlyonthedonorvehicle,thenegativecablemustfirstbeconnectedtotheterminalofthedischargedbattery,thentothegroundingpointofthedonorvehicle.
3.Runtheengineofthedonorcaratahigherspeed.
4.Starttheengine.Anattemptedstartusingjumpercablesshouldnotlastmorethan15seconds.Thenallowawaitingperiodofatleastoneminute.
Note
Beforedisconnectingthejumpercables,electricalloadssuchastheheatedrearwindowandtheheatingfanblowershouldbeswitchedon(thevehicle’slightsmustnotbeswitchedon).Thisreducesvoltagepeakswhichmayoccurwhendisconnectingthejumpercables.
Withtheenginerunning,removebothjumpercablesinreverseorder.

3.Placesocketwrench(toolkit)ontheunlockingspindle.Thehandleofthewrenchshouldpointhorizontallytotherear.
4.Turnsocketwrenchapprox.180°A.Theheadlightisunlockedandpushedforwardslightlyduringthisprocess.
5.TurnsocketwrenchbackuntilitispointingverticallydownwardBandleaveinposition.
6.Theheadlightisnowunlockedandcanbepulledforwardoutofthefender.
Installing
1.Insertheadlightintotheguiderailsandpushfullyintothefender.
2.PushheadlighttotherearandatthesametimeturnthesocketwrenchuntilitpointshorizontallytotherearC.Theheadlightlockingdevicemustperceptiblyandaudiblyengage.
3.Inserttherubberplugintotheunlockingopeningandsecurethecarpet.Checkthefunctionofalllights.
