1Wireless Charger*
A device may not charge if the size or shape of its
chargeable side is not a ppropriate for use with the
charging area.
Not all devices are compatible with the system.
During the charging phase, it is normal for the
charging area and de vice to heat up.
Charging may be briefl y interrupted when:
•All the doors or the trunk are closed
- to avoid interference with the proper functioning
of the keyless access system.
•The position of the device is altered.
Do not charge more than one device at a time on a
charging area.
If the device becomes too hot and its battery
protection function activates, it may charge
extremely slowly or no longer charge. The
temperature at which the battery protection function
activates depends on the device.

The power mode must be in ON to use the
heated steering wheel.
Press the button on the lower side of the
steering wheel.
When a comfortable temperature is reached,
press the button again to turn it off.
The heated steering wheel is turned off every
time you start the power system, even if you
turned it on the last time you drove the
vehicle.

Do not use the heated st eering wheel continuously
when the power system is off. Under such conditions,
the 12-volt battery may be weakened, making the
power system difficult to start.

The seat heaters can be used when the power
mode is in ON.
Press the seat heater button:
Once - The HI setting (three indicators on)
Twice - The MID setting (two indicators on)
Three times - The LO setting (one indicator on)
Four times - The OFF setting (no indicators on)
When the power mode is turned on after it is
turned off, the previous setting is maintained.
Press the AUTO button:
Both the air conditioner and seat temperature
will automatically change to the setting most
suitable to the ambient environment. u When any seat heater button is pressed,
settings will switch to manual mode.
■Front Seat Heaters*1Front Seat Heaters*
Do not use the seat heaters even in LO when the
power system is off. U nder such conditions, the 12-
volt battery may be weakened, making the power
system difficult to start.
After a certain period of time, the strength setting for
the front seat heaters will automatically be reduced
by one level at a ti me until the front seat heaters shut
off. The elapsed time varies according to the interior
environment.
As time passes, the set temperature will fall, and
eventually the seat heater will shut off.
The seat heater may turn on if sensors detect weight
on the passenger seat due to luggage, etc.
To prevent automatic activation, you can turn off
automatic climate control for the front seat. 2 Customized Features P. 318

using seat heaters.
Persons with a diminished ability to sense
temperature (e.g., persons with diabetes,
lowerlimb nerve damage, or paralysis) or
with sensitive skin should not use seat
heaters.

The seat heaters or ve ntilators can be used
when the power mode is in ON.
The seat heaters: Use them to warm up the
seat.
The seat ventilators: Use them when you want
to ventilate the surface of the seats. When
used with the air conditioning, the surface of
the seats will become easier to cool.
Press the seat heater or the seat ventilation
button:

Three times - The LO setting (one indicator on)

Climate Control System
Using Automatic Climate Control
The automatic climate control system maintains the interior temperature you select.
The system also selects the proper mix of heated or cooled air that raises or lowers
the interior temperature to your pr eference as quickly as possible.1Using Automatic Climate Control
If any buttons are presse d while using the climate
control system in auto, the function of the button
that was pressed will take priority.
The auto button indicator will go off, but functions
unrelated to the button th at was pressed will be
controlled automatically.
To prevent cold air from bl owing in from outside, the
fan may not start i mmediately when the AUTO
button is pressed.
If the interior is very warm, you can cool it down
more rapidly by partial ly opening the windows,
turning the system on auto, and setting the
temperature to low. Change the fresh mode to
recirculation mode until the temperature cools down.
When you set the temperat ure to the lower or upper
limit, Lo or Hi is displayed.
Pressing the button switch es the climate control
system between on and off. When turned on, the
system returns to your last selection.
While ECON mode is active, the climate control
system may have reduced cooling performance.

Use the system when the power system is on.
1. Press the AUTO button.
2. Adjust the interior temperature using the dr iver’s side or passenger’s side control
dial.
3. Press the (on/off) button to cancel.
■Switching between the recirc ulation and fresh air modes
Press the (recirculation) button and switch the mode depending on
environmental conditions.
Recirculation mode (indicator on): Recirculates air from the vehicle’s interior through
the system.
Fresh air mode (indicator off): Maintains outside ventilation. Keep the system in
fresh air mode in normal situations.

Pressing the button turns the air
conditioning system on and automatically
switches the system to fresh air mode.
Press the button again to turn off, the
system returns to the previous settings.

For your safety, make sure you have a clear view
through all the windows before driving.
Do not set the temperatur e near the upper or lower
limit.
When cold air hits the windshield, the outside of the
windshield may fog up.
1 To rapidly defrost the windows
After defrosting the windows, switch over to fresh air
mode. If you keep the syst em in recirculation mode,
the windows may fog up from humidity. This
impedes visibility.

You can set the temperature synchronously for the driver’s side and the passenger’s
side in synchronization mode.
1. Press the SYNC button.
u The system will switch to the synchronization mode.
2. Adjust the temperature using the driv er’s side temperature control dial.
Press the SYNC button or adjust the interior temp erature using the passenger’s side
temperature control dial to return to dual mode.
■Synchronization Mode1 Synchronization Mode
When you press the button, the system changes
to synchronization mode.
When the system is in dua l mode, the driver side
temperature and the passe nger side temperature can
be set separately.
